Bringing out the blueberries

BB takes a little delicacy
She doesn't like hot soil, curls up real bad with too much N. Feed low and slow.
Also, her terps make her a mecca for mites. So be sure to have essential oils on hand to melt their exoskeleton.
BB is also very sensitive to light leaks and variations in night length.

Just have plenty of space for roots to stretch and keep the nutrients on the lower side, especially N. A good organic soil and water does wonders. Along with just planting outdoors. Blueberry and Flo are still stand out unique compared to your other 90s lines and to todays lines.

Can you please elaborate on the juicy fruit pheno? I was wondering about these. They must not go too long if you finished them outside. How does this one smell compared to the F13?

These are way more on the blueberry side with the hawaiin punch/juicy fruit bubblegum combo. The larfy bottoms from these outdoor plants had more value in effect to me than fresh new candy strains. This is the type of cannabis that you would still smoke the 1 year old shake of. Dj crossed to the afghan male to shorten flower times then selected for the sativa effects he loved. These genetics endur and shine during a long cure, thus giving them good shelf life, which is lacking in most of todays candy kush hype hybrids. The new stuff is good to smoke when dry but oxidizes within the first 2 to 3 months.

F13 has much more incense, and perfume, and cologne notes from cedar, sandalwood, cherry wood to fresh floral notes like juniper, jasmine.

I am glad to have you working the lines as I really respect your selection and breeding skills.
I think DJ is very lucky to have found someone who obviously shares the passion for what he created, the skills to keep it alive through new work, and the integrity to work with him honorably.

Hopefull Stoner probably doesn't realize how lucky we are to have you here sharing your work with DJs lines, and insight into that work direct from the man himself. You are providing an objective view of the state of HIS art, while doing your own work that combines the best of DJ's gear with an eye to contemporary tastes and expectations.

As far as everyone moving on . . . DJs work is carried by some of the biggest seedbanks in the world.
If NOBODY liked it and EVERYBODY moved on disappointed, none of the seedbanks would sell it anymore. Right?

FYI I was around back then and what you called parroting doesn’t apply when I’m not the repeater but one of the originals who dealt with DJ’s BB specifically pre 2k BB sometimes called the outkastt cut.
That plant made BB my number one strain of all time and it still holds that position after all these years.

So much for blanket assumptions of strangers you don’t know 😱.

For the record I have never heard a peep from DJ explaining anything about the details about him losing his prized moms/dads at least not back then.

People that don't have purpose get lost and drama becomes their company. Its sad. I have been there. One can find much more happiness following their own dreams and working to make them reality. I don't sweat people like this any more cause I'm following my path. Waist of energy if it isn't making positive progress toward realizing my dreams.

What have you got that’s close to the original blueberry?

Much respect for what you do I grew blueberry in 1998 …The phenotypes were all over the place the potency was medium but the flavor was unbelievable and she produced fat calyx
