His comments are very common a lot of what he says is true , but guess what ?there is a lot of outrageous weed out 
I think we’re in the golden age… we’re just getting better it’s not getting worse and there’s a lot more of it yes there’s some generic shit out there… but there’s also some incredible genetics available from seed more than ever before…People look to the past & feel the nostalgia for how things used to be and yes I’ve and smoked most of those legendary strains of the 70s in the ‘70’s lol…I think the 1980s specifically the first half was the first revolution in breeding and there’s a lot of hero worship to some of those revolutionary Dutch breeders (probably well deserved ) but we are now living in 2022

There is no more respect for the seed market!
They all look like no big differences between them, made quickly, maybe by mistake they became herma and that's how a "new variety" of wasting time.
You can compare the seed market with the car market, expensive, copied and of poor quality or they can be compared with the bakery market, whether it is rye or white bread, a lot of sugar for taste, a beautiful packaging and you buy the same garbage.
Educate children not to waste time with the market and take out old stocks to share it!

I've had too many hermie experiences. It's a lot of wasted time and effort. Some of my grows the soil has been a bit hot but they still shouldn't herm
I will stick with better seed outlets from now on

I run a deathstar cross that does this. It’s the strongest smelling knockout high in the area. Not a big producer.

Good grow some nice phenos found. Jack does actually sell very well in the USA even now an is still found on in almost every dispensary an has a rep of still being potent.............anyway a old jack an its finished bud just to contribute to the great thread (not my pics)...........enjoy your harvest Cannatorium....thanks for documenting.

A/C mix pheno....big golden calyx pheno....yesterday I was very lazy didnt want to do anything but had to go shoping for home stuff....after smoking this one....I let music play....shower myself,clean the whole apartment and than go for shoping.....simply amazing high.......
It really gives you energie and positivity...
But high is very strong....after smoking this one....you have feeling that something is growing from your pineal gland...like some horn....afterburn smell is sandalwood,woody incense musk....so old school.
Im amazad about quality of high on all phenos of Jack....so strong Sativa high of finest quality....you really feel that you are high....not like most sativas that you ask yourself am I high ?

This is very strong pheno,still sativa high but your brain becomes stoned,its best that you just close your eyes lay down,and see those rushy images and thoughts....
It smell like metalic,piney,wood,bit rose flower.
With just a bit smell at the end that is like, smell you get between sweaty toes fingers ...that sweet and sour cheesy smell.
Some old dutch skunk's were famous for that smell...toes,feet.
Afterburn smell is that musky/pine,champor...that smell like antiseptic in air....but very rich and oriental....anybody who smell it...will say oh from where I know that smell...I realy like to smoke it at home,and than smell it in the air after I finished smoking session.

It is my favourite pheno...it smells like mango/orange,pine,clay,peppery,peach,smoked meat(spanish jamón) spice and leather.
Like true old school Dutch haze....
High is very uplifted and long lasting...positive,vibrant colours sounds...and most UP off all JH....you can smoke it all day and not willing to sleep...some other phenos will k.o. you after few joints at night. This one not its like always up and up...high is very strong and you feel it in head and shoulders really intense...some say that its like you are drunk but with functional body..some say that its like coke but without nervousis....
Its one of the best high I had in years...i dont smoke anything else only this...and at night other "stony" phenos of JH....
Taste is really hazy strong incense,pepper,earthy,pine.
Real Dutch Haze...
I will try to grow it to perfection this winter.
But shure its keeper pheno...and thing that you look when grow seeds that are Sativa.
Now when I smoked all phenos....I will say that lineage of Jack Herer reg. by Sensi is shure one of the most importent building block for modern hybrid strains (with super skunk also breed by Sam).And strain with best high you can find.
Real strong but Sativa high...like one of my friends said " its not like ordinary weed that get you high from sholders to toes...this shit you feel in head and shoulders...

This pheno is also very good its one of "night phenos" of Jack...it smells like metallic menthol lime and spices.
Taste is like pine/cream,earthy spice,metalic-pepper at exhale.
While burning it smells like musky sandalwood.
Its realy strong from first few tokes your head goes numb. Then your eyes open snd you see and hear better. At half of J you need to sit down but also feel some feeling for get up and do some things, very strange....you are 100% focused on any task...but you also easy get lost in your toughts...very relaxed body,snd trippy head...its best how can I describe it...if you smoke few before sleep it will KO. you like hardest indica...not remembering when you went to sleep.
If you smoke it by the day,you cant talk to no high strangers...it leave you functional but lost in world of your own toughts...

@CANNATORIUM , That's a very interesting thread, thank you for sharing this grow of the mythic Jack Herrer. That's a strain I've never grown in pure form because of the expensive seeds and many reports of bad experiences but your grow show there is still some keepers to be found in those seeds. I think Sensi seeds made a lot of effort recently to offer better seeds because for a while the grow diaries of their flagship strains were not in their favor but now we see more growers having good experiences with them like you with this grow.
Do you think you really need as much females as you (26 females) to find a fruity tasting/good producer phenotype?
I've always been interested by the Jack Flash, it's JH x Skunk or Super Skunk, it has the kind of big calyxes flowers I like and a faster flowering.

I really dont know what to say....I like doing big selections from 15-30 females..I open all packs and mix the seeds. So I dont know what I get from 1 pack. Maybe one was all females,and others all males.
Its tricky with regular seeds.
My keeper is good for that it dosent need vegetation.Its 12-13 weeker from cut and if you remove veg time 4 weeks, its 8-9 week flower.
And yild is XXL 1 plant around 130g.
Fully dried buds.
I growed JH 7 packs split with my friend before 10 years or so...and genetics are the same..by my expirence.
But if any regular smoker compare jack herer and cheese or OG kush...I know why people say that Sensi goes down....
I growed most sensi strains,and they have that old school genetics...before USA....I will say for breeding I will use Sensi genetics...but if Im comercial G i will go for some OG modern hybrid.
Growed Black domina 1 pack,and found really good oldschool nl/hashplant pheno...that have really positive rekaxed indica high with no ciling the more you smoke the more stoned you will be and its really strong....Best to say if you dont like today genetics go grow sensi regular stock.
There are differences between strains...and many genotypes to look for.
That are not breed/present in today genetics.
I've already grown a few strains from Sensi, the first pack of seeds I bought in 96 was Afghani#1 , it was a nice indica line. For a few years all seeds I've grown were from Sensi seeds and I had great results, it's around 05 I started to look for different sources of seeds. For a long time they sold the best cannabis seeds of the market.
Today their skunk hybrids might not be as popular as before but in Europe it's still selling pretty easily and they now have many new strains with today flavors. In 08 I bought a White Diesel pack from White Label(sister company of Sensi) and it was a nice S1 of NYCD, it was extremely gas smelling to the point I thought I did something wrong during the grow because it was the first time I had a plant with such a smell, at the time I didn't like it. With a few months of curing the gasoline smell had transformed into a nice citrus smell.

What a great thread! Thanks for the detailed report...I always had JH on my wishlist, but all the reports of the bad quality and germ rates from Sensi´s stock made me hesitate buying those expensive seeds...

I had one seed from Greenhouse Seeds JH and it looked super frosty, but taste and high were trash...looked like an Indica/Hybrid. No Sativa effect...

It smells like minty,metallic,green tea,spicy-peppery pine/lime,sage-oregano with touch of soil/clay/hash like smell.
Real oldschool hazy smell.
Taste is like metallic-green tea,earthy,hashy,cream.
Smell while burning is like sage/woody/mint/musky -sandalwood.
High is very strong and focused at first,with better sounds and colours...that later becomes trippy but at same time you are relaxed and chilled. But easy to get in paranoia or laugh.

Look: Very good looking like sativa should look,big crystals of golden colour on silver buds.
Smell: This pheno have light smell like oregano celery,tomato stalk with bit of sweet muskyness and something dark and in peppery metalic way that smell like gun powder.
High: very strong and fast you feel heart rate goes up....and you have will for doing something but you are very confused and in some kind of head bubble....it not last long maybe 1-1,5hour which fade away in care free but bit nervous feeling.
Smell while burning is sandalwood with skunky tones.
Overall also very good pheno...of JH.
