CAMBODIAN SATIVA

In Cambodia, the true landrace is mostly being hybridized due to heavy modern hybrid imports. And commercialy I've seen and smoked all kinda hybrids but not the real Cambodian "Laos Strain" is the best weed around the whole Cambodia! So seeds hunters will have a big time confusion now a day...

It looks legit. If you have any seeds to sell or share plenty of people want them. RSC seems to have legit seeds, my Laos 2 was old time stuff. The Laos 3 is still to come.
Cool, it's my relative who still got the true Cambodian. I have to go see him for some seeds too.The difference between the Laos and the Cambodian is just that the Laos is spaced up between the buds... Once I got some seeds is when I could answer you just to be real OK?

That region Cambodia/Laos at one time had some of the best sativa pot in the world. The Thai stuff was likely grown there too, Thai Stick. Confusing as they send the finished product over the borders to Thailand, Vietnam, and back and forth between Laos and Cambodia.

Many old timers wanting that magic herb of sixties and seventies. Dr Purpur here, laments losing his beloved Cambodian Red from '77. Could have been Laos Red, hehe. Young smokers too, that tire of hybrids and feeling tired, burnt out, with little soaring and energetic effects in their smoke.

The best of the old stuff sent people into a trance state, like LSD somewhat. Not exactly like LSD, but not like standard weed either. That was the best of it, not all from that region was that good.

from what ive been able to ascertain from study, laos wasnt as commercial as thailand with regards to pot back in the days of thai stick ,
though im sure once they eradicated that fields in thailand , that quickly changed ..
without doubt those thai sticks were grown in thailand , though admittedly in provinces that bordered laos, but definitely on the thailand side of the mekong,
but its well documented where those kilos and kilos of thai stick came from ..

there are some pictures around of laos weed at markets etc , it didnt look like it compared to the best thai sticks by a fair shot , but it was quite cheap...

oh i havent heard what angus says about it , is there a place i can read , or listen to what he says ??
though i do know plenty of people that went there during the hay day and read a lot of the history , as well as traveling to the places renowned for thai stick and will again , its a great spot to visit, a great culture ,
and its obvious the climate is well suited for the cultivation of cannabis..

why wouldnt you want to see it yourself yesum??

Angus said that here I think in the RSC section of Landraces. As I said, I look at a map of that cluster of countries and do not see much of a demarcation line with most of it. I am not concerned if I get super genetics from one or the other of the 4 countries or see any real significance as the genetics/product move around and remote areas of each all look the same to me. I have nothing against going there but do not have the ability to do so due to a few things that keep me here. It sounds pretty safe there unlike the mountains of southern Mexico, another place that used to have super strains.

oh yea i totally agree that seeds know no borders and travel freely ,
and the folks on the thai side of that border speak laos and eat laos food,
isaan food and laos food is all much of a muchness as far as i can tell ,
and likely all the weed is related too ....

Just arrived a while ago to my relatives in "Anlong Veng" Cambodia to get some seeds... God BLESSED me with a big thunderstorm.
I got hot because the seeds I'd collected a couple of years ago, among around 50 of them only 4 popped up after three weeks... And the way my people been fluffin up their own strain I felt obligated to preserve our true strain...
TWELVE CENTURIES of preservation... RUINED in just 50 years!!!
I'd never made seeds in my life..it's gonna be some kinda ride! Probably like AC/DC's song "HIGHWAY TO HELL"

Your seeds your rules. Either way, preserve and hopefully get some out to the 'needy' for the seedies. 12 hundred years of selection down the drain. Sad as hell. A few like yourself are not gonna let that happen, so not all is lost.

I'm realistic... Even my relatives, their seeds might be cross bred by the wind. Just got some of his oldest seeds from last year but I'll know for sure next year if they're still pure. So far his couple of plants he grew is still pure. But I won't pretend of none... And in a week I'm going to SISAKET THAILAND to visit my uncle and for sure he got the pure. Coz it's a Cambodian community of old-timers bamboo bong smokers.

Hmong, สวัสดีนะครับ เป็นอย่างไรบ้าง
My people in Ratanakiri got some of those type growing there. To me it looks like a Laos wind crossing the original Cambodian coz the plant looks like a Laos but the buds formation looks like a true Cambodian... Just a wild guess bro.
