Anyone using Jacks 321 under LED lights?
what are your feed strength in flower?

I'm under 240 watts QB leds 2 weeks into flower feeding 850 ppm and getting twisting mutation looking leaves and uneven green very small bud sites.

Room temps lights on 80f, lights off 72
co2 1000 ppm
Humidity lights on 65%, lights off 50%
ph 5.8
Feed 850-900 ppm jacks 321 + silica

Similar environment here and 4 quantum boards maxed out at 150w each.. i was up to 3.2g of calnit to keep em green in heavy veg. i think i overshot it a little, will cut to 2.8ish.next time. I supp extra boron too.. Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_20220305_181640.jpg Views:	3 Size:	95.0 KB ID:	18103243

When I used 321 (15gr,10gr,5gr in 5gal) with LEDs, I had some deficiency in flower. I opted for 14.5gr, 12.5gr (calnit-yara), 4gr epson, 1.25gr of greenleaf bud explosion (equal to 2x DIY Hammerhead) and a pinch of micro nutes. I sit around 850ppm 1.7ec.

some great info from a icmag user at:

Not sure what strain you are growing but i stick to sativas.

As soon as i increased calnit, the grow was solid. I do grow in coco and i run 75f (24c) at lights off, 84f(28c) lights on.

your HPS looked dialed in. Try running your LEDs a bit warmer.

Hoping for the best for you.

Thanks legalcdn
never did have to add extra Epson salt with the jacks under hps. Looks like price of jacks has gone up 50% this month.

If you like hps, look for UPDAYDAY HPS4000 led on amazon. If you wait, deals for 50% come around frequently.

If you have already bought leds, nevermind.

This will be my next light. Deals come up on riu in the best deals forum.

Did you ever look at the before and after ppm breakdowns?

I did with a excel spreadsheet that breaks items down. You actually helped in a round about way when i read your posts about LEDs feeds and Calmag.

I have noticed healthy growth at the moment with a pinch of micro nutes.

The Jacks 321 is pretty good. I have been supplementing with minor doses of fulvic acid that is boosting uptake compared to prior grows without.

I already got the 480 watt kingbright QBs oh well.

I had to mount the drivers in a separate room those things get hot as hell so many lies about led.

Its hot ambient. I went with leds to save on cooling costs. Yes there cooler if drivers mounted outside room not so much if there not. Running thousands foot of driver cables sucks. And adds extra $1500 to the cost I wasn't planning on

I have found (of all things) Fe has needed increasing. Many feeds offer about 3ppm but I seem to keep finding them with about 1.5ppm in them. If you look at most commercial calmag products, they have a little Fe in them. Somewhat more than some base feeds provide. This speaks to me of calmag antagonising F-e to a high degree. They don't put anything else in it, just more Fe. I don't imagine the cal or the mag is individually the culprit. Both have that double whatsit, that my brain refuses to engage upon right now. The ionic business that makes them shove anything else.

Hmm.. hammered as I am, I guess my ppm numbers could of slipped a decimal place. Each liter I am adding 0.01g of Fe eddy (I dunno his real name) with the aim to gain 1.5ppm from my 15% Fe dust. Before this I had light green tips and this has maybe corrected half this problem. First week of the trial though, so I may need more, or some accumulation. Perhaps your micro is working for similar reasons, with your gain in the Ca/Mg/K group.

Some very interesting figures regarding Zn at 0.5% foliar about. Real big gains in farming areas a little lacking. Response from many crops. It's worth a look. I have a foliar Zn+Mg concentrate here, that's only 0.05%, so a 10th of the trial amounts shown to work best. This concentrate should be watered down 100 fold (0.0005%) so you can see a huge gap between this product and the field trails. In the field two applications is typical, and my product talks weekly. It was in the shops bargain bin. Something they let me pick bits out of for free. I'm still not happy though lol

My Source water is 5.0 pH with high iron, RO wont remove it all so i have to add calcium carbonate after the RO to get my pH to 5.8. And that's it calcium carbonate will not get your pH any higher than that
