that look of glee...pure virgin ecstasy like he's 12 and just discovered his dad's nudie mags when he says it...rabid with entitlement and privilege, sure some of it was out of context and during a legitimate discussion but some of it is also clearly him getting off, as if not smoking weed until he was 30 wasn't a red flag enough

I get tired of watching Rogan about 30 seconds in, not much for me there, although I did read the transcript w/ Dr. Malone and I liked when Rogan calls the Pharma corporations "money-making machines".

All I can say about political correctness is I remember being in the midst of a legislative campaign to decriminalize weed here in Massachusetts. Building a coalition with minority groups - the Black caucus in the Massachusetts statehouse were some of the first legislators to sponsor our MJ deccrim and medMJ bills. We were all working to educate people how racist the drug laws really are- even in wonderful, "liberal" Mass. people of color were getting arrested at four times the rates of whites for weed, with even worse racial disparities for hard drugs. At one point I remember a report from MassInc. that showed Latino men were 81 times more likely to go to prison for cocaine than white men.

We were blackballed from the Boston Globe, for years they wouldn't cover any of our progress or local ballot iniatives, even referring to MJ activists as "pushers". The day when Black History Month started, the Globe ran a huge feature on an African-American Harvard professor and his crusade to stop the use of the N word. I remember how angry and frustrated I felt as the true purpose of political corectness became clear. It defintely wasn't about helping black people. We were trying to stop them from being arrested and thrown in a cage, and the Globe took a big shit on us basically. For decades.

The GLobe's vision of fairness was for everyone to stop using the N-word while police continue to throw minorites in jail. They ran editorials in opposition to all 3 of our referendums that ended prohibition - decrim, medMJ, and legalization. The "liberal" Boston Globe said to vote "no" on all three.

I'm not sure I agree with that. The myocarditis discussion he had he did move the goalpsosts. Think that's the first time I'd ever heard him do that. Other than that, I've enjoyed several of his podcasts over the years. But I definitely do not consider him to be a smart man. Hell, he'll even tell you not to listen to him because he is a moron.

If anything, the dude is a sealion.

That I 100% agree with. Which is hilarious considering how far left he is.

he definitely has a complex where he has to do things to convince himself he is a man's man, like his cigar and whiskey phase, his I hunt game and eat the meat phase, I never took him seriously and only listened for select guests, I quit listening to him once I heard him criticize George Carlin saying there were shows he "bombed" when in reality George Carlin bombing is still funnier than anything Rogan ever did, when Carlin said the N word he prefaced it and the audience roared with approval after his deliverance of the message, stark contrast to that sick look Rogan has on his face when he says it, it's not cancelling if you never gave a shit about the worthless hollywood meatwad in the first place, I'd like to see him say the N word to Sony Liston or Joe Frazier's face and then try his spoiled white child taekwondo to defend himself, a lot of these internet guys wouldn't have even survived society < 1950, there's a difference between say a ww2 era marine cracking a joke that contains the N word that stormed Normandy with some black marines, and that coddled literal child Rogan

as far as conservative vs liberal I'm of the belief that the wildest liberal dream could only come true by treating it conservatively, if you get free money you can't be pissing it into bullshit

Joe Rogan's average age listener is a 24 yr old male. This is the brain power who turn into his show. His audience is the mentally weak with small egos who think they are "owning" people by being obnoxious/rude.

Rogan is not hated for who he is. He is hated because he had Dr Robert Malone (the inventer of mRNA vaccines) on his show and Dr Malone introduced the masses to the term 'Mass Formation Psychosis.'

That is why he is now hated by the left. Nothing is ever more offensive than the honest truth.

So, when its someone whom you like saying the N word, you are fine with it. And when it is someone you don't like, you make a thread about it.

Got it! :tiphat:

You think people only started having negative opinions of Joe in the last few weeks?? Typical drama queen stuff....

TBF i think Joe is a decent human, has massive flaws but that's ok.... there's much worse people to worry about.... but it is funny seeing some of the smug stuff he said in the past being dredged up.

Like his friend who has a black dad and a white mum so he got the best of both worlds- the brain from white man and the body from black man.

I used to enjoy watching his podcasts when he was on YouTube and he was different back then. Something changed when he went over to Spotify, not right away nor all at once but after he was there a few months the change was noticeable. The main difference I noticed was that when he had "experts" on YouTube he never (at least not that I recall) really expressed doubt about what the "experts" were saying and as someone pointed out above he would regularly describe himself as a moron. But then on Spotify he became much more willing to question experts openly. I don't mean saying something like "are you sure about that?" but rather more like "no, you're wrong!" and if the guest persisted he would demand proof that Jamie could verify. One thing that turned me off more then anything else was that when he went to Spotify was that I could still get his podcasts but only in audio form I heard there was a way to get the video to but I could never find it and eventually gave up. I enjoyed seeing the interactions as much as hearing the conversations, like when he got Elon Musk to hit off of a blunt. Or the more animated discussions he would have with Neil deGrasse Tyson or Randell Carlson and Graham Hancock together. I never saw Joe Rogan openly dispute anything people like that said. Sure he might cast doubt on Kanye West, or even Russell Brand but not on people with solid titles. As far as the whole N-Word thing much of that is out of context and a good bit of it is from his earliest days in podcasting when it was just him and 3 to 4 other comedians getting high and saying stupid stuff and much of that was before calling the N-Word "The N-Word" was being widely practiced. For sure though he never used the N Word around Mike Tyson or any of the Black Fighters he had on over the years but I can't honestly think of when he used the N-Word with a clearly racist intent. To me it feels like the media didn't like that he got off pretty easy when Neil Young made Spotify choose between him and Rogan and then Rogan made a fairly weak apology afterward, so they dug up this N-Word stuff to try to punish him more.

I've never watched Rogan.

He seems to have a fascination with the N word. Why ?

Does he think he's Saving the Alamo or something when he says it on a live broadcast ?
