This is why I have resisted all the breeding BS and stuck with my basic cultivars, as close to original landrace as possible.
Don't throw no tutifruity at the king of rock 'n roll

I'm looking forward to growing it again! This time with a more even canopy. I am thinking about adding another Optic 1XL light, since they seem to like it so much. I can't get the colors to show up properly in photos, but the best buds are golden-blonde, lime-green and magenta!

Typical 90% BS. There are 3 Baldwin brothers. It was the assistant director that handed Alec the gun and said "COLD GUN"..
Dave Halls has had multiple safety issues on sets. Its documented.

Typical 100% BS.. It wasn't Alec Baldwin that stared in Hunt for Red October. It was his brother William Baldwin.. There are 3 Baldwin brothers. It was the assistant director that handed Alec the gun and said "COLD GUN"..

Dave Halls has had multiple safety issues on sets. Its documented.

You sure about that?

I guess.

Alec Baldwin was Jack Ryan in The Hunt for Red October.

Yes, I corrected my post. Alex and William look almost identical at that age. Alex had nothing to do with the fatel shooting on the set of Rust.
He was handed the gun by Dave Halls.

This is the 'Medusa' plant and the 'Rocket' plant...

Well done Hempy. Respect for growing a full sativa indoors under a couple of Optic 1's. You might want to flower them earlier next time, then again you might not. Hope it turns out a great smoke for you.

Hello all,

I am humbled to say that you have grown what appears to be some nice sativas...I have yet to achieve good results here with pure sativas(too high of latitude)...would love to sample some.

Have you considered using a tent?

I am going to be growing indoors again and have been considering my options.

Well done, hempy (scrathes head wondering if the sativas would explain....never mind... inner monologue).

Thanks Chi! This was by far the most interesting grow I've done so far and I sure did learn a lot about these plants. There are definitely some things I want to do differently, next time. The smoke seems sublime so far! I did the microwave steam quick dry technique to sample and I couldn't believe how smooth the smoke was. And the flavors were subtle but complex. The main flavor is the taste of those little pads you bite down on at the dentist when you're getting x-rays. Very very clean! The high is a powerful and soaring feeling of happiness.

Growing and smoking pure sativa's is one of cannabis's great experiences. More people should do it, just takes more patience, but the rewards are immense. Sounds like you have a very nice smoke! Effect is everything to me. I normally grow 3/4 sativas but also some pure ones from time to time, OT Haze and Ethiopian have been memorable ones for me. Currently have a couple of Manipuri, and Honduras x Panama in amongst some sat/indica hybrids. I use an optic 4 so you piqued my interest using the 2 optic 1's. Enjoy your harvest.

Thank you minds_I, :tiphat:

I've used a tent many years ago when I had lesser growing skills and lighting options weren't what they are now. Tents are great! If you have room for a tent you can definitely grow nice sativas, I bet. There are some awesome grow videos on youtube and actually Optic LED has some great videos featuring these Optic 1 and 1XLs in tents (if I recall correctly).
