New Mexico just legalized recreational cannabis!!!

I was looking to love to New Mexico a couple years ago to the Las Cruces area but I noticed that they have a bad water situation. They don’t have water rights despite having a major river run through the state so they have the same water issues Saudi Arabia have. There’s not a lot of places in the world with the water problems of the meddle east either.

Exciting, isn't it?

Reached out to Pat Davis and his cannabis business partner and although there's an onslaught of applications for micro grows to sell to dispensaries, there's no one doing seeds! Cool! We have to go through public forum discussing our seeds and benefits selling to med patients, vets, the public, NewMexico.green was enthused having that be a way of increasing revenues. Several hoop jumps through the process, yet they are encouraged by a home based product. In the call, I mentioned that we being prefer under the radar, selling seeds to shops, same as we do with Neptune and their dozen outlets/seed sites, and sell directly (payment upfront) to their smoke shop in Long Beach, CA.

Have grown tired waiting for payment for the various seed sites for payment. Some have taken almost a year to be paid. Unfathomable.

I'm hoping they will consider seed sales in shops, at festivals, as a precursor to cannabis festivals like the 420 events in Denver, Seattle, the one in Michigan and elsewhere. The ABQ Hemp festival was lackluster. With combing both hemp and cannabis festivals into one shindig, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY for the state.

We at afterthought, still do a robust business in direct sales, yet want to increase exposure to phenomenal auto strains (we now have 43) and photoperiods, (18) and CBD Hemp hybrids (`15), not to mention several CBD enriched strains. Something for everyone. Seed sites, they are selling a handful of our strains, where as direct, they have complete access to all genetics.

New Mexico's motto (Crescit eundo. Translated from Latin, it means "It grows as it goes" ) finally in the limelight of LEGALIZATION. And living/breeding south west of Santa Fe, it's going to be a banner year no matter how the grows go!

Residents can "start" their grows in 77 days. Hobbyists can grow up to six marijuana plants for personal use, or 12 per household. GROW ON, NM!!

OOPS.....I may have jumped the gun. My Ace Malawi Gold is three weeks from harvest. Oh well smoke em if ya got em. Never thought I'd live to see the day in a legislative state.

Did they make any changes to the plant counts for those with a PPL. Seems to me that medical growers should be able to have as many flowering plants as a rec user.

good news! ☺ well, if you´re gonna live there ;)
where I live.... forget it they´ll never do it. I´ve been thinking that the government(s) should have and could have legalized it as it would have distracted people from corona and all the crap that came with it . People would have had at least something to be happy about!

One year is just about enough time to fuck up your first attempt at growing, and be in the middle of your second try. If you're new to all this 'growing', lol.

Someone sounds a little "Jelly"-ous! Guffaw! Thanks for your kind words on a progressive cannabis bill.

If anyone has basic gardening knowledge (plenty of sources out there), I'd say 90% will succeed in their grow attempts outdoors. Anyway, autos are always a good option or short season indica, if 'truly' starting June 29 harvesting by Halloween (first frost in many areas, S. of Santa Fe in latitude.

Amynamous, Up to 6 mature plants; law takes effect June 29, 2021 https://norml.org/laws/new-mexico

Yes, for medical cannabis PPL, it allows 16 plants (four mature, 12 immature).

People would have killed off the virus from the terps, and WuFlu would not have been the global distraction they sought, as they orchestrated their take-over.

Nobody here is getting this WuFlu, and if they do the dope is knocking it back. Sam Skunkman is 70's, and only had it for a day. Who else around here has caught this crap? I may have had it last summer. Where are the antibody tests for people who have had this?

Good for NM. What will be the first SE state to legalize rec? FL doesn't count.

Sam Skunkman is 70's, and only had it for a day. Varying degrees of fever, fatigue and breathing problems can occur, on and off, for days or even weeks. More likely food poisoning. You can't have COVID for a day. That's not the way COVID responds.

And how is this ON TOPIC for NM Legalization, flylow??

Response was on topic. See my quote where I bolded the font. Hell, I wish dope was legal throughout the 50 states (already OK in DC which should never be a state). Good on NM. Ted Turner should be happy. At least the asshole is letting wolves loose on his spread.

<Varying degrees of fever, fatigue and breathing problems can occur, on and off, for days or even weeks> That was me last summer. Dope pulled me through, illegally I might add. Where is the antibody test and ID card for passing that?

Where is the antibody test . Contact your STATE (not NM) Dept. of Health for antibody test. You still need a vaccine, regardless.

And yes, NM ramping up. Invited to mention our seeds in stores, not a done deal yet with hoopla of NM.

Meanwhile, you can buy afterthought auto strains in Nogales, Palomas, and Matamoras, ALL in Mexico. We're only showcasing 5 strains; 3 autos, 2 CBD Hemp strains..

Indeed!

Going to the NM Legislative conference in June. Table/booth set up. Should open some doors or windows.....;o)

And going to small music venue after over 466 days of no concerts. Miss the Los Radiators! This is the Silver String Band. Vaccination does have its advantages!

I see they've taken down the directions in grocery aisles....not that many adhered to it. Life is finally getting back to normal where I am at. It’s nice to see

Going to be the only seed vendor at the 2 day NM legislative event (Whoo-hoo!).

The 2-day conference numbers attending are capped to 150, there's 106 signed up. Even another member here on IC is going to the conference! Awesome! Seats are socially distanced and PROOF of vaccination via vaccination card is warranted . Normally the Convention Center can hold up to 2000+.

NM is still dipping the toe in the waters, finding it tepid for plunging/diving cannonballing into the RELIEF waters after 15 month STAY@HOME in reopening businesses. Still there's a cap on capacity on stores, and still recommending masks, but not stringent like prior.
