Most people there stayed inside the ropes. Many were following (being lead by) John Sullivan (who is now arrested and has had $90,000 seized from him which was paid to him by CNN. He is the one who lead Ashli Babbitt to here death and he was recorded bragging about all of it. He is a Nevertrumper who was dressed as a Trump supporter. He used a bull horn to shout "burn it down" and other shit which was blamed on the peaceful onlookers.
Notice nobody has been charged with 'insurrection'? ...except maybe Sullivan.

The Americans put on a much better show of it during The American Revolution - against us Brits - way back in 1776 - if that was a serious attempt to overthrow the government back at the Capitol building last year - then it pales in comparison - and although one unarmed woman got shot in the head - the world outside the USA looks at it as more of joke - and not a serious attack - otherwise all the demonstrators would have been armed - locked and loaded - and they were not -

Not sure what those guns are from... the head of the capitol police testified before Congress that no (zero) guns were found on persons inside the capitol on Jan 6...

The full extent will never be known because the GOP is blocking all commissions and investigations into Jan 6th. Which tells me theres likely something there that they're blocking/hiding.

Very few weapons were there. Nobody used their weapons except for the cop who shot an innocent Trump supporter and we still don't have answers for that. Some cops let the rioters through and they still have their job. I personslly believe the government had more planed that day then the rioters. much of the division comes from the far right. you can't win when it comes to policy, so you stoke the flames of division and block everything in congress. this is why your party nonstop covers irrelevant culture war topics to scare all you reactionary boomer brains into submission.
I don't think they're really hiding anything the world saw what happened we've seen the rioters bashing cops with pipes an flags and all sorts of other blunt objects. We saw the rioters breaking out windows to enter into parts of the Capital building they were not allowed to enter, we saw them crush that one op between the doors, we saw them rifling thru Senators Desks and offices, we saw them stealing all manner of private property, we saw where they smeared walls with feces and we saw them build a gallows and then sook out the Vice President at the time, chanting hang Mike Pence. I mean come on I can still picture the video footage of all that in my memory. Sure many suspect there was more coordination between the rioters and certain politicians before January 6th. but I think the truth will end up being more like the Proud Boys and other Militia groups manipulated and used everyone even some of the politicians who are now defending the rioters as friendly tourists just taking pictures.
The real reason the Republicans are blocking it is because they know it looks bad, it makes them look bad, it makes Trump look bad and the last thing they want is the 24hour cable news cycle taking about the latest thing they've found while they're trying to run for the mid terms.
They're were plenty of weapons there, just not a lot of guns because DC is very strict about gun control ever since Republican Congressman Steve Scalise got shot while playing baseball by a disturbed leftwing political activist. Any blunt object though that can be used to strike people is a weapon and there were lots of those kinds of weapons in use. I mean come on dude you sound like that dipshit Congressman trying to tell people they didn't really see what they saw and that the rioters were nice peaceful people just strolling thru the Capital Building and taking pictures. Unfortunately we have seen what we've seen and not just here but all over the world and we even saw that very same Congressman who is saying how friendly the protestors were, scare shitless and helping several other barricade a door those "peaceful people" were trying to force open. Try as hard as you like but you're not going to be able to put lipstick on that pig.
