The Electronic Music Thread...

Wow what an amazing thread guys I'm addicted to EDM!!! :yoinks: :gaga: haha
I'm mostly a breaks junkie with some dnb and trance and also the occasional hardstyle thrown in there!! Too many good DJs to list but I'm in love with DJ Fixx & baby anne. I know their not really breaks but somewhat, but I LOVE Rabbit in The moon. There music isn't the greatest(too me) but their live show is one of a kind!!! Please tell me some of you guys have been special enough to see a live show from them :D

jeez, i'm really just listening to some kleptones right now, nothing electronic lately.

I heard a Bassment Jaxx song the other day on satellite radio that was banging. I think it was called Hush Boy? Tried looking it up on their website and didn't see it. Maybe a new release? I've been out of the game for some time now. No jobs for DJ's unless you win the popularity contest, skills, good music selection not necessary.

I just got done listening to the Beastie Boys new CD 'The Mix Up'. Its a bit different then their other stuff with it being an all instrumental acid jazz disc. Kinda short though, 12 three to four minute songs. Comes out in the stores June 26th.

Sorry, didn't see your house. :D

The concert was awesome. They had a surprise guest as warm up, some DJ played behind the curtain so you couldn't see who it was. But judging by the records played, and knowing that Justice were in the country at the same time, I'd say it was them. :chin: Great track selection, so dirty, but the mixing was fu***ng shite. :cuss: :spank:

The Daft Punk act was amazing. Great light show and great remixes of their tracks put together beautifully. Smoked some A99 before they started so I was flying anyway. :biglaugh:

I want to post on this thread because I like different kinds of music, definitely Electronic among them. But, mostly I want to post on this thread because somewhere around page 15 or 16 Yarkand improved on someone's avatar (the bump'en cats)...... I laughed until I cried......so funny. Thanks for the laugh dude. :)

In the past year I've enjoyed these and many more(lucky me) -
Hermitude
The Glitch Mob
Edit
Ooah
Boreta
Novatron
Bent
Taal Mala
The Bug
Bass Nectar
Tipper
Seedling Escape
Soul Eye
Sleepyhead
SpankRock

oh yeah, and all kinds of Hard Core Dancehall (e.g. Warrior Queen)

Some of these obviously don't fit snuggly in the Electronic category(or at all), but it all kinda blends to me.

Y'all stay cool.
