I actually read a study once that said they usually have lower than average iq. Prison guards even lower.

I’m not accusing anyone of being manipulated... more saying that invoking emotion is the primary purpose of a lot of these news stories.

Heres where you literally accused me of being manipulated. Verbatim. Not arguing, like I said before in response to this. You also are being manipulated/influenced. Its part of life. The photo being referenced here was powerful to me. Call it being “triggered” “manipulated”, whatever having any form of reaction is called nowadays to make people feel more powerful than whoever they are calling out.
I think its pretty sad that in such uncertain and volatile times, when someone has an emotional response people call them “triggered”. So fucking what? Is everyone supposed to be emotionless and not believe a single thing they see or hear? What the fuck kind of mental disease is that? If you are apathetic in todays world, you suck.
