What is the one you call real deal sour diesel?
I know two cuts of ESCD, DHK and chaco. There are more?
Riri cut too but it's exactly the same as DHK cut. Except in power.

DHK is supposed to be Chaco which is definitely ECSD.
IE: all the same.


The labels that people put on things as they make the rounds further confuse things.
Sometimes mistakes are made. Sometimes lies are told.


Riri is a selection of Rezdog's gear like what karma started his work with.


So if your DHK is exactly like your Riri, and both are different than Chaco, then one or more of the 3 is mislabeled.


If you are smoking flowers grown by other people to base your questions on, then it could be grower problems changing the nature of the smoke.

I consider the real sour diesel to be the clone that was circulating in Central New York State in the early to the later part of the 2000’s ... The sour diesel before Chaco, Many people have told me they are one in the same

what Rastak calls DHK, is not DHK, as Raho said correctly. real DHK is same as Chaco. he talks about fake dhk, which is probably sour diesel ibl or ecsdV3 cut, or something else. I found Riri to be lavender, very lavender. while fake dhk is more lemon and more fuely. Riri lacks fuel to me. it is very sour lavender.. Chaco is more fuel than fake dhk, it is like sucking pump at petrol station

OK guys. I grew riri cut for years because I was part of the common action to buy these seeds. I was one who received the riri in first from riridutchand himself.
I have ECSD DHK cut too. And it's exactly the same lavender sour as the riri. Except maybe riri is a little more couch lock than the Ecsd.

But never grow Chaco cut but I saw him. And people I known grew him. nd tell me more about a hashy diesel.

So if you tell me all that and I'm sure the fake is not the riri, it could be the chaco or the DHK but the DHK, I'm pretty sure about it when I see other pictures. Very similar to riri.

Yes it is, from first IBL drop, I do Agree that Riri and my cut aswell , have less Diesel in the smell more just gassy sour,

I love the gassy sour phenotype but havent had luck with stability in offspring with them. I stick with the original sour for breeding now.

again it is not DHK and I cant agree with opinion that they are the same. because I grew them side by side twice and I let riri go.. dont keep it and dont care about it. while fake dhk I like a lot, as same as chaco´s. fake dhk is much more fuel than Riri, I would repeat myself.. even it has different texture of buds, Riri more fragile and life shelf in jars for Riri is poor, it quickly looses a lot and gets bland after few months in jars, like og kush. I wouldn't call it diesel at all, sour lavender would be better name for it. I dont deny it is strong smoke. Riri:

sour diesel ibl is different beast than real sour diesel. it was said in this thread by Chaco himself.

I had the real deal ecsd cut for a good decade but ended up loosing the moms to spider mites. I recieved it back in 03, and it was by far THE BEST cut I had ever had out of a good 100 different strains. I gave this cut to at least 50 people on overgrow, so im sure that alot of the ones going around today originated from this cut of mine. The smell is something you will NEVER FORGET. You could smell the shit from 100 yards away. I couldnt walk around with it in my pocket without people asking me if I was sprayed by a skunk or something. It was such a strong, potent stench of fuel/gas/skunk/piss I dont even know how to explain it. I have yet to find ANYONE with this orig cut anymore and it really hurts my heart. I figured SOMEONE would still have it out here in OG/IC land..... Anyways, if anyone is willing to send me the cut they have if they believe its the real deal ECSD, I would SUPER appreciate it. I have cuts to trade as well. Here are some pics of it right before I lost the strain.

that's definitely how i remember ecsd looking when i remember it 15 years ago. i once had a sack of it in a jar in a drawer under clothes, bedroom upstairs at the back of the house... still could smell it when i walke in the front door. was renting from my dad at the time, idk if it was because he smoked cigs or he just didn't care, but he never brought it up but yeah shit was loud.

i had some "sour diesel" from the dispensary last year, nowhere near as loud and really the dull and lethargic stone disappointed me.

the ecsd i remember from years ago had me seeing things. trippy kinda dissociate-y and a favorite time. i miss it.
