A diffrent Kind of Weed Snob

hey guys ive been wanting to ask this question for a while, and the other weed snob thread reminded me to ask it... its a little diffrent than wheather or not you smoke shitty weed.

heres the situation. im an almost everyday smoker. now from time to time i will pack a bowl and not finish it. the next day my girl and i will go to smoke and there will be an unfinished bowl in the bubbler or something. now for the life of her, she wont smoke it and demands a fresh bowl, now i dont really have a problem with leftovers and end up finishing it b4 i pack new one. more weed for me... but how about you guys... do you alway start fresh or do you care about playing "clean up" as it may be???

I hate partially burned herb, I throw it out and start over with a fresh bowl. But I have a small glass piece and I almost always finish it anyway with a hit or two.

sometimes the ground up bud all kind of sticks together when you leave it for so long and after its been sparked up. so i usually take a toothpick and break up the 'ball' in the middle and shuffle the bits around a little. then i'll hit it.

i'm not going to just toss the dank in the trash.. just beacuse its not a fresh bowl.

there has been times where i have gone to clean out a bowl over the sink and pop.. out goes a nicely packed tight little ball of green down the sink.... for some reason it really erks me. such a waste of a nicely resinated chunk of dankness.

I'm never a snob. I haven't been blessed with copious amounts of bud, let alone good bud, so I always smoke to conserve. That does not mean that I do not smoke to excess(sorry about the double negitive), but I do it in a way to completely conserve my bud.

I can't help but think it'll be a diminished effect...not saying I wouldn't smoke a half-bowl but I'd probably back another fresh one afterwards just to make sure my brain is nice and saturated with THC.

yea, if for some very odd reason i can't bring myself to finish a bowl, ill hit it later, and just put some fresh green on top of it to add some nice taste. I routinely leave the weed in the bottom of the bowl if I'm gonna be repacking the bowl. This is because I don't use screens (i don't have glass screens and I don't wanna taint my smoke with a metal screen) but I still like to break up my weed nice and small so I get a better burn. Leaving a bit at the bottom lets me avoid putting a bigger piece at the bottom of the bowl to avoid sucking through.

the only time i will throw out weed is when im smoking in the car and I don't wanna get caught with anything if pulled over, so if I can't finish what I brought with me or theres the roach of the J left then ill toss that if its partially burnt. I do this because my partially burnt weed smells a lot stronger than my fresh stuff, and its just a security risk as I see it

Yeah i'll always finish it. I usually check it to make sure its not just ash and if there is some green left, ill always blaze that before packing a new one.

It would just be stupid to throw it out.

partially smoked herb goes in the ashtray. thc degrades with heat anyway, so if you've toked like 4 or 5 hits off it and you see greens, chances are most of the thc is out of it already, you're just smoking plant matter and various other cannabinoids that burn at a higher temp.

I uhhh....like to roll up some roaches every once in a while and I save big ones for this occasion. But um, I hate roasted vapors, for a while I was putting 4 ounces a month atleast through my volcano for and I've tossed atleast a few pounds of 3/4 vaporized weed. I never turn the volcano above 5.5 unless I am vaping oil or hash and usually it stays on 4.

even with my snobish tendencies i still finsh the bowl. on the occasion that it hasnt been leached well enough, tastes bad and ive got something better than i might ash it, but only if i cant see green.

Depends on how much I have. I may just toss it and start a new bowl, but if someone else is offering it, I'll smoke every last bit. Don't think I've ever made any kind of request with someone else's weed. And only a few times have tossed partially smoked herb from the bowl. Hell, even my vaporbros saw the same weed at least 3 or 4 times.

The ashtray on my desk is filled with black ash, interlaced with bits of brown and green. I just smoke it until it doesn't taste good.

At that point, you've already exposed the herb to temperatures well in excess of the vaporization point of THC multiple times (THC is gone at what? 400*? A lighter is close to 1000*), so I figure I'm not missing out on anything. When there are no active ingredients left and it tastes bad, to me, that means "finished".

I'm not going to go on smoking something just for the sake of inhaling burned stuff. I leave that to the tobacco users.
