beginning flush over the next few days. hard to manage with so many different strains and phenotypes. kicking me in the nuts trying to keep them all happy. so many keepers!!!

chem d ? or hybrid of?

CITI 1212's, CXM22's on 120mm sinks run at 600~650W per 4x4
the rest are just regular old knock off brand HPS digitals. cheap bulbs.

running cheap grow bags with interconnected bottom buckets and i pump the runoff back to the res and recirculate it to keep waste water to a minimum. i live in the desert and try to be as water conscious as possible.......as my RO dumps gallons down the toilet lol

about 25% of the plants ore connoisseur genetics chem d cookies, tested at 30.2% total cannabinoids. The rest is mostly ethos collective strains(harambe and citral flo) and some mycotek(chemhead OG and dog cage) and then theres a riot seeds platinum banana and a DJ shorts blueberry indica(supposedly the original from '88)

sorry, i have not been growing since this last garden. problems with my growspace......

Jacks with some added epsom and calcium edta
usually around 1.2 ec the whole way through
usually around 78-82 all the way through
rh around 55-65
i believe those were straight coco but they may have had some perlite or silica stone in there.

i had a few high end strains that were hitting 2+ per 4x4 with only about 660W at the wall.

hi desert_hydro, this thread is freakin awesome and it motivated me to get my own blumat system and switch for my next crop to coco, thanks a lot!!!;
i have one question, perhaps for all coco-blumat masters? is there any alternative to "drip clean" as an agent for salts and clogging the drippers?
i've seen that perhaps canna's "cannazym" and plagron's "pure zym" are similar? or drip clean is irreplaceable?

i'm thinking of using the whole canna line, substrate and such.

thank you! much appreciated :)

Enzymes are snake oil. Clogging shouldn't be much of a problem, the little house that emits the water is pretty big.

hi beta, thanks for the quick reply! so, using just the mineral ferts from canna should do alright? i'm thinking of using tap water, still have to test it though; i have everything coming (blumats, ec/ph kits and such) in the next few weeks but wanted to be prepared (currently growing in soil and want to switch in about a month from now).

What about the no runoff subject on this growing method? i guess besides clogging, those products help somehow with salts accumulating in the coco, since there's no runoff?

If so, should one always use this kind of products on blumats?
i'm sorry for my ignorance but i prefer to ask; since availability of those products is quite limited around my village, even the coco a+b is hard to find, but drip clean is mostly sold with the H&G pack that amounts for a large sum of filthy money.
cheers!!

If I were using Blumats in coco I'd just hand water enough to get good runoff once per week.

Hi beta, thanks!! i was re-reading your last reply last night struggling to find what the hell is snake oil hahaha in this village we don't have that kind of luxury, so i was without a clue.

thank you so much for your inputs, after reading several topics on this very forum, i will stick with "drip clean" for salts and keeping the system happy (just because of that), and canna coco a+b plus pk13/14. If i'm seeing some deficiencies i will purchase more products but at this stage seems fine, and from what i've read at least in veg stage should suffice.
Perhaps a booster for flowering?

Anyways, if someone is looking for the same info, here some links:
