No way a 315cmh is getting 1000 par average over 3.5 X 3.5.
The footprint I quoted for the QB was for 1000 par. Nobody needs that, you can go off an average. 1 led board would be equivalent to or better than the 315cmh at 240watts, 2 boards over the 3x3 would be no contest.
This is not about me liking one or the other id grow with either CMH or led.
Grab a $30 Lux meter and see for your own eyes, HID lights are a hard pill to swallow. But I do like them especially if you need heat.

Hey dots, is this the light and correct price?

Sorry guys, I need to post more.
I ordered, received, and set up my new light.
I bought a brand I thought I never would.
I ended up going with the Mars Hydro FC 3000.
Meanwell driver, osram and samsung led chips. Dimmable. Waterproof commercial fixture.
I didn't go the quantum board route, I went with the arrays.
The review from Cocoforcannabis helped change my mind on Mars. These aren't those first gen Mars. These have great par maps from independent reviewers.
My first white light led!

I need to take pics of my latest edition to my cannabis collectables. Grabbed some old books and pamphlets. I'll try to post tonight.

That is a nice setup. Tons of little ones, room for bigger ones. Cannared, are you using a bubble cloner?

Yes, I made one from a plastic tote that I painted black. I cut holes in the lid and put slices of pool noodle in the hole. I roll the pool noodle slice like a spiral and I can put 2-4 small cuttings in the spiral or just put one bigger clone in the center.
I've only been using it for a couple months so I'm trying to get the hang of it. I'm not sure how often I should change the water

I change every 7 days in my bubbler. Be careful the noodle does not wick water or the stem will rot. It works great for some strains. The purple sat i received as a gift from u do not like my bubbler. They like straight soil and mini hempy cloner with perlite.

anyway..plants look super. How is the MAL X PAN?

12 weeks now. Smells awesome. Maybe Apple, citrus, touch of catpiss. And some other stuff I haven't decided
but they are extremely resinous and SUPER sticky. Can't wait to try it. Maybe another week or two. Mal pans are the two plants under the 315 4th picture down in post 250.

I wasn't impressed with the one and only PurpAl x Purple Satellite seed I popped. It was great in flower, but lost its aroma once dried. Now it's very earthy taste.
