Everything changes. It always has. It always will. It makes no sense to fight it. We need to adapt to it. Only accept the things that you find usefull and ignore everything else. Surround yourself with the things and people that you love. live in the present moment in the space that you occupy now. Worry and anger will kill you faster than anything else.

“ Peace lies not in the world, but in the man who walks the path”
- Buddhist proverb -
Worry and anger won't kill you faster than anything else - IF - you can convert them into endorphins/dopamine - via exhausting yourself thru exercise - with the worries and the anger targeted on the boxing bag 🥊 - or the heavy weights themselves -

- I find it a distinctly beautiful way of ridding myself of the negative - by converting it into the positive - and leads to a gorgeously spiritual feeling of well being - satisfaction - and harmony - between body and mind -

Well, Grasshopper... I have been all over the world and came to the conclusion that the weather, land, and gemutlicheit folks all can be found in south Floriduh.

Some people find the endless summer to be quite enjoyable. Going to the beach on a day that has snow up there in the mountains.

And the barometric pressure is gonna be higher than the High Plains just about all the fargin time. Making you more distant from the triggering.

I think I would move to Brownsville Texas before i would move to south Florida

they both are about 25 degrees latitude

thats if latitude has anything to do with barometric pressure

dam , this could lead to a class in meteorology and a diploma

you mean the 90’s on that Imitrex right….it was only approved for medical use in 1991 cause I had tried everything up to that point in time the 80’s and I didn’t discover Imitrex until around 1995
Yes, but I was still seeing the doc I found in the 80's.
She first put me on the tablets. I often would miss onset so,
I'd just puke those up. The subcutaneous was around 92(?) I think.
Kinda scared me to even try it as the label said to have another
person present first time using :O

gotcha…..and yeah , I started out on the tablets too , what a joke

why?

takes an hour for the pills to kick in

and like you say , from the onset of a migraine one hour is waaaaaay to late

i have had migraines knock me on my arse in 30 minutes…projectile vomit and head pain that makes one wish they could chop off the head , like you said

i am pushing 73 and still catch some bad ones

When I was younger I'd go to the local miniature golf place.
They had batting cages and a driving range.
I can't golf nor do I care to learn but... a giant bucket of balls
and a stick w/ a steel head on it worked very well to alleviate stress.
I would alternate between the driving range and the batting cages.
When that bat connected... thwonk... thwack... ahhh.
My shoulder is wonky now so...
I just do lawn work these days haha.

To save space and time, rather than replying to all who have replied to my post about
inconsiderate people allowing their animals to relieve themselves on their neighbors lawns,
I'll instead make one reply here.

I've considered posting a sign.
When I was in the shower, a thought to simply fill a ketchup type bottle
that squeezes with ammonia and as I walk by... spritz their bushes.
It is an evil thought and I won't do it of course. Sure lets off some
some frustrations to contemplate it however :)

I figure that for folks who are this inconsiderate, this is not the
only area of their lives to which they practice inconsiderateness.

Funny though... I am kitty sitting for a neighbor who is currently
in Spain. Well, poop scooping, feeding and watering the cat daily
+ watering plants wkly. Mr. Kitty will have nothing to do
with me so... I'm just the food/ pooper scooper person
to him lol.

The trip over is 3 blocks street wise. I will typically cut through
the co housing common area, cutting the trip down to less than a block.
Today some of the co house folks were in the common area prepping the
ground for planting. I stopped for a chat and the gal w/ the bush
peeing dog could not even look me in the eye.

I think what perturbs me most about these type of situations is that:
some how the person requesting that their property be respected
is the asshole!

I've been here just nigh of 15yrs. and most who have been here
for a while already know that I'm gonna say it as I see it and I
simply don't GAF what others think of me.
I don't tread upon you, and I only ask the same in return.

What I had intended to be a quick post has now turned into
a chapter of blathering haha.
My apologies, I'm cooped inside and don't wanna do chores ;)
You could always pee on her shrubs. Payback is a bitch…

I always wondered... given the male anatomy and those skin tight jeans of yore...
if there wouldn't be a bit o pinchin' going on in the nether region?
:giggle::giggle::giggle:
Ya - I used to be a 'I'm a commando advocate' - and it worked whilst I wore button flies - on my jeans 👖 (501's) - but I was soon to find out - that don't fly with zipper flies - when taking a quick Jimmy Riddle - in a hurry - and you inadvertently zip ya todger up in the YKK ballistic zipper -

OWWWCCHHHH! - then try working it outa there - without screaming for ya Mama! - who happens to be thousands of miles away - at that time -
