just a note of caution. i've used silica gel to help dry weed in very humid conditions before. although it does remove some of the moisture the sachets i used gave off a smell which contaminated the weed.

In his 1st post he said his holes were drilled for air uptake, meaning fan is blowing air out of the box.

50 bucks sounds a bit high pricewise. But I bet the bulk of it was for them nice stacking trays.

Great Job, the more of these I see the more I realise I need to get off my ass and build one.

here is my version!! fan is blowing out basically sucking air in from the 4 holes on the top of the lid.. ive added the smallest canfilter as well!!

good setup i think you could pull this off without a fan but i guess you put on there.

i prefer to slow dry the buds but watch out for mold this way, you should cycle your fans as not to dry your buds too quickly imho.

NO odor!! YES it stinks to holy hell without the charcoal filter!
I had just the fan in there thinking i could get away with it but that was a big no/no within 2/3 hours of my house REEEKING like DANK. Had to unplug the fan and put a charcoal filter in there..
I basically copied this setup here on the link! just used metal rods to hang the herb instead of the racks!
My setup consists of
16$ rubbermaid
38$ charcoal filter
25$ fan
6$ metal rods
