Good luck with your cross. It sounds very Congo.

I just put two sprouted R.W. Back to the Congo seeds in beer cups. Went thru a container of seeds stored in freezer, and realized I still had a shitload of older seeds I'd always intended to get to. Actually surprised two seeds popped.

I'm curious if you've ever grown Back to the Congo outdoors and if so how it performed? Finish time etc.

I'm in Maine and am a decorated veteran in the war on mold and blight. Which means I've gotten lucky a few times and also had entire plants go up in flames. Always trying and pollen chucking new stuff in the search for resistant outdoor.
No I haven't tried any outdoor. I have 14 knee high in pots now to go through and plan on putting a few out . I'm going to clone them all and put the clones under flourescents

Ganesh (Uttarakhand, India x Afghan), Mandala Seeds, the basis for a few of my experimental lines, selected in 2019:

Ganesh crossed with Bodhi's Deep Line Alchemy #4 (Kashmir Azad x '88 G13HP1) produced Triveni Sangam F1. Here's a female example:

A male Triveni Sangam of the F1 generation was used to pollinate a Killer Queen (Airborne G-13 x Cinderella 99) from Brothers Grimm Seeds' gear:

This resulted in Kali Ma. This is the first of "the ten Shaktis" (actually just quintessential weed reminding me of my youth) I'm trying to bring about:

Kali Ma crossed with a male Dog Patch (Chem D x Chem '91 BX2, Lucky Dog Seed Company) produced Mazati (her secret name is Chhinnamastika), currently in testing phase:

Cape Goat. My beautiful CAlifornia Pineapple Express (CA-PE) cross. Kind of like golden goat, a hawaiian sativa cross. The Limoncello added a calming effect that'll take care of PTSD, worry, and intrusive thoughts. It disables that Fight or Flight feeling. That's a wonderful effect in my stash!! This stuff is better than a benzo. It's a great clear-headed daytime high that's calming, comforting, and no paranoia.

Of course I was sloppy with my 1st breeding projects, and got pollen all over my 2nd grow. Collected some 3k seeds from 17 different strains. Growing them out, I found a few herm's from that Jr Mint x MAC1, and got some weird-weird crosses, not the Pineapple Express ones I expected.

My next step is to grow out a few Cape Goats and make some FEM seeds from it. That's what I want from this.

I grew out 5 of the crosses this last grow. The indica ones were amazing smoke. The sativa ones were just okay. It's been a fun adventure, and I'm very happy with a couple jars of CAPE GOAT tucked away
