what up old smoker. hey i might of missed this but do you use any nutes , phd water Ro with the aerocloner? those clones above look so green and lush still.
Thanks
Hi happytree
the first week they had just tap water with no ph adjustment ph 7.3
when the first roots appeared I changed to gh flora 5,5,5 ml /10 liter
and a cap full of rhizotonic ph 6,0.
I used clonex gel hormone, some had a node under the the inserts
and some didnt, had 2 18watt coolwhites 25cm above the cuts.
Ok the doner plants have got a full nute change today And I stuck a 400w hps in on 12/12
I know I should just stick 2 female clones in my other system and scrog em
But I just cant bring myself to throw away perfectly good weed, so the scrog will
Come a bit later and this will give me a chance to pick my best plant for that
thanks oldsmoker .So you can still use the clonex gel in the aerocloner, I know you didnt prefer the bubble cloning, it has worked for me about 95% success do you think the clone x would help to excel the process in a bubbler?
Hi Happytree, you could give it a try Ive had good results with bubble cloning too
but I found it took longer for them to root.
I think it needs to be a gel and I usually let mine stand in clonex 5min before they go in
right on thanks for the help. Im getn ready to take some cuts off my newest batch to make a mom, i will give the clonex a try as i have a sample pack.
Ill be sittn back and watchn those ladies produce some friut with you old smoker right on
Would you mind going into a little more detail about the electronics you're using? I'm a cs guy so I'm not so good with hardware stuff. My roommate, who has taken a couple of digital design classes, and I have been trying to work out the best way to set up some timers and maybe a pH doser. I need to do a 30sec/3min timer for my water pump and I've been thinking about trying to set up a thermocouple to control my ventilation. If you know a good source where I could read about this type of stuff, that would be awesome.
Yes, those links will be a HUGE help, thanks a ton. I didn't realize I could get an assembled timer that cheap, someone in another thread bought one of these to do the job, for $85.
Hi whycombinator, glad you could use the links, another thing to consider is the peri pump
get one where you can change the tubing yourself and use silicone air line cheap as chips
its not as durable as the original stuff but who cares just change it every grow and your
laughing all the way to the bank
Im real busy this week so no time for pics so far I have 2 males and 2 females
the last one in hydro is a bit behind the others so no sign of sex yet.
the first batch of clones have been moved into hydro and a mate came by to
pick up some female clones this evening, next batch have roots now and are
all female.
Ive also got 2 plants in dirt to compare with the hydro ones but they are soooo
far behind it will be weeks before I can clone them.
all this and at the same time I just got married and am moving house
