I have never had a problem with the top feed setup, however I did cover the yellow hose, now the only thing that remains exposed in the clear line. Yeah it might look ugly on camera but it doesnt cause any problems, as it drained back into the yellow line when pump is off, your just seeing a very thin layer buildup inside the hoses.....soo I ask why change it??
