Our first headband was out of Arcata and had a wrinkle problem which went away in flower. It created a bit of head pressure and we let the cutting go.
This Headband is out of HDC in LB which appears very reputable with their Oaksterdam cuts.
The buds are small and may smell similar to new tennis shoes.
It is stated to be Deep Chunk x Norcal Goo
This sounds right there is no fruity aspects.
Potency and flavor is a disappointment.
Plant looks impressive and growth is slow to medium.
The buds to stack up well.
Querkle - slow growth and a big carrier of Powdery Mildew.
It is the first to show PM. It is a PM harvesting machine.
There may be two phenotypes. Harder to clone.
Jack the Ripper - slow growth again and almost as bad with PM as Querkle.
Nice pungent spears.
Photos will be posted of the followiing:
Afgoo (lacks potency, good growth, mass crystals, good harvest)
DJ short Blue Berry (lacks potentcy, slow growth)
-quite sure on authenticity out of HPRC Arcata after DJ short dropped them off
B-rad (lacks potentcy) 4 way cross Shishkaberry and others
Caboose (Trainwreck x Bigbud) medium grow speed, lacks potency, low smell, lots xtals.
DJ Coco Kush - same a blueberry
Candy Skunk - a Hindu Skunk phenotype but much sweeter and great night time med
K13 or Gush - G13 x Kush good grower, nice gummy meds, smooth in vaporizer
Mex clone from Dana Point dispensary stated to be bubblegum
- sure had healthy roots something many of todays cuts desire.
- lacks potency. medicinal effect is 'dirty in the head'
(Trainwreck and Lemon Kush have strong healthy roots)
Purp Kush (slow and great), SD Stink Bomb (strong cancelled due to lacking flavor),
Shiva (weak), Original Widow (fruity, low harvest), New Oaksterdam widow (missing some fruit)
7-9 weeks
With 5.5in pot each one gets 3 grams or more
It takes awhile to come up with this data using a tiny sea of green to test the strains.
A cutting is obtained and grown until a cutting is able to be taken from the main stem then the left over plant is flowered to test it.
We are focusing on strains with fast vegetative growth to find a top 6.
Our collective reviews clones.
We are not a strain bank and advise one to ask a strain bank if they have actually verified their cuttings.
It is ethical to bloom a cutting before taking cuttings from it and giving it to others. This prevents an exponential propagation of error (see photo of hydro mex thought to be bubblegum here soon)
Out of these strains the Lemon Kush, Candy Skunk, Master Kush (slow growth) and Trainwreck are our keepers.
If you know of any clones with fast growth please mention.
