OK dudes and dudets, I think there pretty close. I am going to wait tell Wed to chop em. The last photo is of a bud near the bottom. Still lots of Trichomes's

Anyone else think there ready??

I kinda skimped on the photos, Once I get the plants out of the cab and in real light I will take some good pics. I realize my harvest pics sucked on my last grow, but I was just too damn exited to be f'in around taking pics lol, I think I can contain myself this time lol!

Honestly, what's the harm in letting them go until all the hairs are red? The best weed I ever smoked was off a plant I simply let die vs the ones I cut when I "thought" they were ready. If I am able (and have the patience) I let my plants go till they say they are done. The rest of the time I cut them at about where you are right now

Well.... I don't have enough backup to really push the envelope this grow, but I do want to just let a plant completely grow out!

Doubt I will be able to wait it out on the DP the Ulitmate grow ethier cause it's an even longer flowering strain and I can't start vegggin the clones for about 1-2 weeks! BUT once i harvest that grow, I should have some buffer room like all you guys/gal do! Then I can try some stuff like that!

I am glad to here that they are around "Normal" harvest time!!

That's why I often cut mine early lol, although right now I have a nice stash built up
I'd still give them several more days or a week though if you're able. That way you'll get more of the trichomes filling in.

Thanks for all the input, judging the harvest day is something you learn with time. I have only harvested 2 grows...

I guess I should wait until at least next weekend!

Well I just got an idea, I'd like to have some smoke for this weekend.

That's not the Idea. But I think I will just cut the top colas off Wed, and let the light hit the lower shit for the rest of the week..

That way I can have somthing decent to smoke + the other buds can get some light the wouldent otherwise get..

Sound good? Do you think it will shock the plant to much? I intend on just topping all the head buds basicly...

As far as cutting them down, I noticed one branch got seeded pretty bad, not too too bad though, I will cut that off tommorow for some personal smoke this weekend. Then I can let the rest of the plant go tell the weekend. I will weigh the branch that I cut off early once it's dried and add that to the total weight..

I learned alot on this grow, it may not be as big of a harvest as the last. BUT next time should be sweet! guess thats what it's all about...

I bought a bag of crap claimed to be weed. It's terrible. This grow wasent ever anything special so I may be getting a bit less buds by cuttin em early but o well! Next grow I do will be complete!

Well Just wanna say a few things. First off these plants are much more finished than my last harvest. Alot of the bud was just heavy and dank..

Not sure If it will be the same yeild but I got some big buds! alot nicer than last time I feel. The lighter next to the buds really doesn't do them justice. There Just alot thicker than a lighter! If I woulda had a banana, that woulda been perfect!!

Don't much matter to me the size, I really just want the weight! After all that I learned on this grow I am glad to see a semi decent return! If I woulda vegged another week or so I would been Golden! The cab was just so empty!! Simply can't wait to start my next grow!!

Whoohoo! you mst be excited! Looks like that should be about 4-6 zips dry? That certainly looks like a lot, and dense. One question:
You don't feel it's beneficial to hang the whole stems upside down to dry? Most people I have seen do it that way. Is there a difference in time it takes to dry and resistance to mold?
