bear foot love I agree with you, the picture has a balance to it.

Philly, if you would describe the taste of those pics as perfumy, I will wager it is the same.

Truth...Very nice pics of the Majesty. That's some nice looking smoke, bro. You need to keep that one around. Maybe make sure some friends have a cut to keep incase something happens to yours, hint hint, lol. Just kidding man. I wish someone had the Keystone since I lost mine, though. Most big breeders do this just in case. I sent some out, but I can't find anyone that still has it. I lost mine. I do still have some of the same beans it came from though, so maybe someday...

Next up is the big bad Bearfoot. Another local doing CF proud. I shoud be in the club soon. Got one sprout so far with the StrawD x ABK. It's the only one of the 4 I'm running right now. I have too many moms until I sex and sort.

Bearfoot...What do you mean by the daytime thing? A setting on your camera I'm guessing. Can you give me anymore detail so I can check to see if my camera has the option. If you took that pic under HPS, that's a great feature. I get tired of trying to take pics in the dark, but I find it takes the best pics. I don't really know what I'm doing as far as photography goes, so I may just be an idiot. Help me out, please, lol.

For Philly and jip...Each of you send me a couple nugs, I will compare, then make a post about them. Then we will know for sure if they are the same. :chin: Just a thought.

If I only had more....the similarities are too weird.

One day we will all meet up in a proper cafe....

Thanks Bear, I did see the option to change the white settings, just didn't know what it did. I'll have to try it later. Appreciate the response.

dylan...Welcome to the tri-state thread. I'm sure you'll find a happy home.

I just had a lil idea. I might just be outta my mind, but i wanted to share it with you guys.

So i was thinkin about the concept of hydro, how it's readily available nutes with a steady flow of oxygen to the roots and how that stimulates growth. Well, a lot of ideas have been kickin around here about the idea of oxygenated soil. some people say they put an air stone in the soil, some try other methods. I was thinking, make a pressurized box in which your planting containers sit.

I know this is a bit off the wall and a lot of people here use 5-7 gal buckets, so i'm sure this idea would be a bit bogus. But for a perpetual micro grow it might be worthwhile. The idea would be this - a shallow box that sits at the base of your grow, with a tray in it for drippage. The top would have holes cut out where your containers would sit in, air tight. Hook up an air pump to the container and turn it on therefore forcing the air up through the drain holes, through the root system and out the top of the soil.

Am i makin any sense? or am i just talkin outta my ass. haha
not being able to smoke for the last month is really starting to take a toll on my brain function...

haha....few weeks left.....

Sub, dude, you are an idiot! Just kidding bro, that actually may have some merit to it. I think I understand your concept. Just make sure you have a nice loose medium for the air to come up through easier. I would guess you'd want maximum airflow. Where would you attach the air pump to the container? Somewhere near the bottom? Do you think the air would just escape out of the drain holes? Maybe enough pressure would build up to push it through the top no matter what. I think it is a good idea. Even if it doesn't work, I'm sure some of the greatest inventors had people laughing at them and telling them they were crazy. Glad they didn't listen. Let us know if you mock up a concept and how it works. You could do it with no MJ involved just to see how well the air comes up. Maybe it will give you something to do until you can smoke again.

Everybody flip the switch on your HPS,
All you MH growers are thought of no less,
Unless you stress your sinse,
Lower its defense to defend against,
Contaminants,
Now that I ran with this,
Let me help you to understand Cannabis

Even though I know I can't take good pics, I wanted to give an update...it's been awhile and my first coco grow is still turning out to be my best BY FAR! I'm getting close to harvest and have some shit that looks way better than anything that's been in my garden before.

First, I needed to upgrade the smell control big time. Got a friend to get these off ebay under his account. They're real well built, refillable, and work great. Got em for about 245 for both of them shipped....something I could have done myself but they wouldn't have come out so good...

Now to the garden....We're on day 42. Here's a few shots of Cush/Green Crack...being flushed, finishing up. She branched all over the place quite a bit, still has some big buds....what can I say these freaking plants just went crazy. Prolly flush her for another week then chop her...Sorry if the pics suck...this lady is huge and frosty...

Be back later with pics of the rest of the garden!

Stoned...Look really good man. Bet you're excited for the chop. Good job, keep it up.

Amish...Can't wait to see how those Blue Cheese's do. It's one I"ve been wanting to try. Is that the Skunk #1 that you've grown before or a new one?

Red,I have grown it before.Let it pollinate its self to get some seeds. Not skunky at all.Fruity with a hazey taste on the last run.I have high hopes for the Blue Cheese as well. These seeds are from Barneys so I'm not so sure about them.Everyone has bad things to say about Barneys seeds, but when I ask if they have grown them, they all say no just what I heard. So we will see.I also have Big Buddha's Blue Cheese seeds too_One way or the other,I'm going to get some tasty Blue Cheese.

hey vint- yeah i hear ya, ill probably still stick to what works for now, not sure if im ready to do any upgrades yet. i do grow with the lights vertical rather then over the tops. so its tubes hitting bottom to top of plant evenly all sides. kind of like a phototron. so loss isn't that great, just intensity.

i measured her this morning, shes 18 inches tall now and just as wide. very branchy and bushy no topping or fimming. huge lower fans, as big as my hand (and i don't have small hands). day 19 flowering, went from 5.5 inches to 18 inches in just 19 days (+7 days for clone to root +1 week clone veg to about 5.5 inches) - so 33 actual days in so far. im starting to notice some pistils starting now, she should explode soon, less fingered and a little smaller fans are coming out of the tippy top signaling to me shes slowing down and getting ready. not much to show yet, as shes one of the strains thats slow to start flowering, but should catch up once she gets going. i'm sure a longer veg period would show pistil much more quickly after the flip, but i dont want her to overshoot the tubes in height, which she did from seed, i had to stand them on bricks to get some more height light out of them (no point in lighting the pot and soil, ha)! but clone form definately does not have the same vigor when she was a seedling.
