I was referring to a bucket inside about it caking. The different mineral content % would be by species of tree I would guess.

Hey everyone l hope you’re all well.
I threw some wood ash on this leaf so everyone can see just how quickly it burns. This was on for about 24hours before rain washed it off.
Cheers,
40.

When you're handling ANY dry fertilizer - including wood ash - do it in the sun or with a VERY BRIGHT LIGHT - like a Grow Light.

It's very important to see the dust - BEFORE you breathe it.

Save your Lungs for the Good Stuff ! ! !

With concentrated dry fertilizers like Wood Ash, I normally mix them with water before mixing them into the soil mix.
Perlite and vermiculite too.
