hey guys... After breakfast this morning, wifey wasn't feeling quite as frisky as I was, so she told me to go turn on the computer and go play with my stoner friends...So here I am... She isn't as interested in IC mag as me (don't get in her way when she gets on facebook though)
Anyway, I was just wondering what ya'lls significant others thought about the time you spend on here...Wifey enjoys having me read some of the stuff I see on here to her, especially some of the super duper funny pics....
But the funniest thing of all, to me, is the fact that while I was what you would have called a "real pothead" althrough the 70's and 80's, I guess I'm kind of a lightweight these days 'cause she can smoke me under the table any day of the week!

When I was married, my wife never appreciated the time I spent working with the plants. We were together a few years before she even got high for the first time. She didn't see what the big deal was. I'd only read icmag when she was busy doing something else.

My last girlfriend was a major pothead. We'd get high and look at the bud pics here. Or we'd get high and watch hi def nugporn videos on youtube. It didn't work out with her, but I learned something important. I should only date girls who love weed the way I do.

should have learned that lesson when my highschool sweet heart started smoking weed a lil while after I did.

had so many chances to be with that girl but never went through with it, kickin myself in the ass for it now.

first wife started smoking weed AFTER we divorced, second wife is cool with me smoking/growing but wont do it herself.

was able to send my HS sweetheart a 1/4 of my first grow and she loved it, current wife wouldn't even try it.

current wife started beating me in the head about my friendship with HS sweetheart and I ended it out of pure frustration, and its the worst fucking thing I ever did, never got to smoke with her and I miss the shit outta her

One of my favorite memories from my marriage was when she got me a vaporizer for my birthday. We got high together and watched Family Guy. It just happened to be the episode where they legalized weed, where they sang that song Everything Is Better With A Bag Of Weed. Lol. We laughed about it that whole night. Things were going downhill by that point, but it was fun.

I met a girl after my divorce who always wanted to get high and fuck. She'd hand me the hash vape while she was giving me a bj. It was like a whole new world. We had lots of fun nights getting high and watching comedy shows, not just one or two a year. It turned out that we drove each other crazy living together, but it was fun at first. That's when I realized I should be with another pothead if I'm going to be with someone.

That sucks about the friendship thing. I'm still friends with a couple of cool girls who are into weed. I understand not seeing them as much if I'm in a relationship, but they'll still be friends no matter what.

I’m really lucky, I met my hubby (to-be) right here on IC, so there is never any friction over that sort of thing. :canabis:

It makes life much easier when you both care deeply about the same things…
Of course, it’s also nice/healthy to have your own interests too…I cherish “my” time.
A little time apart makes time together that much better! ;)

…I don’t hassle him for playing video games and he doesn’t hassle me for the shitty ‘Bravo' shows I watch…
Ok, well, he doesn’t hassle me unless he walk by while it’s on, lol.

It's cool you met someone on here. Bravo shows and video games are harmless fun. :) Unless he's playing World of Warcraft. That's more addictive than weed could ever be, seriously. I almost needed a 12 step program to quit myself.

It's healthy to have your own interests as long as everyone's cool with it. I've had friends who've been getting high for years and hiding it from their wives at the same time. Their wives don't want them to get high, so they do it anyway and hide it.

I get being with someone who doesn't get high but who's cool with it. I know what that's like. I can't imagine starting a relationship with someone who expects me to be sober 100% of the time. Cannabis is one of the good things in life. I can't pretend that it's not when it is.

I hear you man and that is where I fucked up big time, normally the wife would get mad if she thought we were talking too much or while I was talking/telling stuff to HS sweetheart instead of talking to her.

she always made it a big as thing, gets hurt and emotional starts crying and all this shit and I never payed it any attention

this last time though, I got so mad and frustrated and just said fuck it called HS sweetheart on the way to work and told her that this is it, cant do it anymore. normally I would just let things die down for a while but those who are married to the jealous types know how it goes

Man, I feel for ya, that's like a sad love story....
that's the thing, she came over once to visit from florida and I never made a move and she wanted me to, left herself vulnerable for it, I know my HS sweetheart better than I know myself and I just choked, a lot of trust issues there not with her but with me and the situation.

while she was here I went out to get some smoke and came back empty handed theres a funny story to that shit though so it wasn't all bad

at one point when the misses and I were going through it I serisouly thought about that shit man but my problem is im too loyal. but trust me when I tell you I am kickin myself square in the ass for it all know. she was Jamaican (coolie Jamaican too! no need for a weave or anything fake with this one), cute, common sense, booksmart and I found out that she had smoked a good while after I started talking to her about it, maaaan the kinda girl you could really be a man around and for, I mean this girl was just an inspiration on her own, all you would have needed was her and you would have been cool . . . yeah dude kickin' myself dead square in the ass on that one.

only after I told her that the friendship was over did I get a FB account, ive got two one to play my games on and one for personal, I figured I could contact her on her page but she literally is never on that thing, the activity is non existant, so alas I think that she is heartbroken and gone for good, besides I think we were going at it and hitting and missing too much over time anyway

lmao, yo lemme stop man causei could go on and on on some real shit about this one

peace fam

that the one lesson that I failed to learn along the way. I should have been with my HS sweetheart cause I know if I was into it she would have been into it, she always thought that I got into interesting shit, never boring so she never had a problem following suite.

im sure if we were together she would have been growing right along with me and been grateful for the experience and knowledge.

wife says that our differences is what makes us stronger but I honestly don't really know about that theory. I don't want it to end but ive seen the reality and necessity of divorce first hand so when things are what they are then they have to be what they are gonna be.

I always said that if it ever ends (god forbid) then that's it for me im out of this aspect of life for good BUT . . . I think if I catch up to my HS sweetheart again after a divorce I may be going in again head first

all in all I still miss her friendship most of all, imagine literally marrying your best, I mean literal, best friend?! that is such a book/movie worthy thing! lol

My girlfriend doesn't really mind when I'm on here. She doesn't really care for my micro-box though...lol. She calls it "my coffin"..lol...she doesn't complain about me smoking. she used to smoke a lot of weed too, so shes used to the smell, but any kind of oils or concentrates in general she doesn't like the smell of.

Looking for a thread of funny stories that involve wives or girlfriends finding grows or fucking something up in general....
