Thoughts for next year should look at improving nutrition. A plant healthy enough to fight off pests is also healthy enough to resist powdery mildew.
Same as with animals and Humans.
But some growing locations - like San Francisco indoors, or outdoors - where there is a lot of fog, makes it more difficult.
I had some PM growing indoors in SF but it never stopped a harvest. Just made me think I should remove fan leaves.
