Which 315 CMH has the highest UV output?

I'm looking for a finishing bulb with as much UV as possible.


I know the Philips 942 has lots of UV, but it also has UV block.


So there must be bulbs out there with more UV. The Solistek does not have the UV block. Has anyone used this?


What's the best finishing bulb?

Some yrs ago there was a short lived brand that made light "spinners", multiple horiz light fixtures rotating around a centre like a ceiling fan. They had multiple different bulbs in thier line up to emulate natural seasonal progression and even had a UV finisher bulb. I cant remember what wattage, but they were mh/hps hid types. I cant remember the name or anything.

Anyways, that is prob irrelevant cause you talkin cmh bulbs. Single jacketed cmh bulbs give off more uv except they can explode and hurt you. A uy nearly went blind i saw once.

I think sunmaster makes a good regular MH finishing bulb in 1000 & 400....great spectrum

Philip's T9 doesnt have the uv blocker. I run t9s in veg and flower.

T12 have the double glass jacket (uv blocker).

DO NOT RUN T9 BULBS IN AN OPEN HOOD, AIR COOLED OR SEALED ONLY!

I've got the T9 myself, it does say UV block on the bulb
