Swimming in Rivers this time of year

Please, I mean it, be careful.

I lost a very good friend this weekend to a river. Anything fed by a mountain is a NO NO this time of year.

I hate warning threads, but I just lost a dear friend to BS. Be careful. Your life is worth it.

I am so deeply sorry to read this, DIDM. I live in the Sierra Nevada, and at this time of year rivers and streams are indeed dangerous.
