Sub-Tropical Highlands

Being I am in the sub-tropical highlands myself at 544m, us sub-tropical highlanders need our own thread.

What is especially unique where I am is a growing season of March usually ending in December, sometimes extending to early February before the first freeze. Summers are extreme, droughts and invasive locust can be regular, and learning how to navigate these things and share information from others is critical.

I found this cool video about the sub-tropical highlands
from this website https://geodiode.com/climate/subtropical-highlands
