Question about person to person seed trades

In 2022, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) quietly recognized cannabis seeds as legal in the United States.

My question is, does the site not want person to person trades due to legal reasons or due to advertisments and such? (The drive of sales/costumers to websites)
i also understand that it might cause problems in general. not fighting it at all.
just curious.

Good question. The vendors here have worked very hard for many years to bring the best seeds to the seed market. They also pay money to advertise and post here. It wouldn't be fair to them if everyone else flooded the market with their non-breeder seeds. If one wants to trade seed it would be in the best interest to do it somewhere that It doesn't interfere with the professional breeders' seed stock.

Just google cannabis seeds swaps or give away.

FYI seed and clone swapping has been legal in Canada since 2018.
