Prepping for clones

Is it better to veg and take clone or flower then take clones.

Just trying to manage my space.

The farther the plants are into flowering the bigger the odds they will grow funny before vegging properly.
Always clone from vegging if possible would be my advice even though i often don’t follow it due to lack of branching in the veg period.
I find clones from a vegging plant will be quicker and more uniform overall.

I like to take clones from plants in veg, 30 min after a watering.
