Plant was sprayed with neem a week before harvest... Looking for advice

Plant was getting a ton of powdery mildew a couple weeks ago, last week my father thought it would be a good idea to spray the entire plant with neem after I sent him resources on what to do and without telling me until it was too late, I wasn't happy about it. The plant still reeks like neem but its ready to harvest otherwise and I'm fighting off pm everyday trimming leaves. Do I wait another couple weeks for the neem to cycle out? Is that even possible?

I was considering just making rosin from the whole thing but will that also be harsh and taste like neem? I'm feeling like it's screwed and the neem is going to stick along with the plant resins since they're both oils.

Planning to harvest the other plant tonight so wouldn't mind doing both at the same time.

Bud shots for the heck of it, colorful one is the good one

posted this in organic soil earlier also but just realized how inactive it was over there

I think the PM may be safer than smoking neem. When a plant is in late flowering putting anything on it is problematic. Unfortunately smoking neem is not healthy for the lungs.

Excess inhalation or consumption of neem may cause indigestion, stomach irritation, and other digestive health problems.

Neem Toxicity. The ingestion of neem oil is potentially toxic and can cause metabolic acidosis, seizures, kidney failure, encephalopathy and severe brain ischemia in humans. Google

To me neem is like using dormant oil for smothering,if anything use it at the start then put it away and never use it during fruiting

If you have any decent sized buds, you might be able to trim them down to little buds. Just to get a spliff out of the crop. If it smells it tastes though. Which also means you are consuming it.

You could try washing bits. People wash it off other plants. I mix neem in warm water, with a wetting agent. I don't think that same solution would mix my cannabis oil though. There could be an answer there.

It is approved for cannabis use, so there must be guidance notes somewhere. By far my best idea, is finding those notes. While others might be better deleted.
