Planning June Colorado Vacation

Fellow Maggers, need suggestions for my upcoming June trip to Co.
Will be flying into Denver and want to check out a few rec shops. Staying a week and plan on going to the Valley of the Gods one day. Will be renting car so can get around. Will be doing some hiking in the mountains. Any suggestions on other things to see and do and places to stay would be greatly appreciated. Thanks OG

red rocks worthless waste of time, garden of the gods ehhh, pics are better, more to do than that crap, go star your journey in boulder then up to nederland where the best nugs are grown, nederland and ward has always been the center of the cannabis growing capital of colorado. Go during Nedfest or Dead Guy Days for a party, and stay away from Boulder Uni during 420.
although CO is overrated and hyped it's a fun place, Stay out of Denver, go to aspen and the mountain towns for good nugs. anyway you look CO is way overpriced. cough cough cali and oregon are the places for real, hell Oregon send tons of outdoor to CO, honestly CO is a trap for custies don't fall for the hype
but I digress if you must, thn you need to meet the real people who are the root of CO growing. Nederland.
In Ned you can go to One Brown Mouse and talk to Kathleen she'll give you the low down on what's up with CO, she is a animated character you must visit if you go to CO for nugs. Ask around town go to the pizza shop by the grocery store get a slice and talk to some locals at around town, hit the few dips and rec shops, look for the heads at the pizza shop, it's always the same there back home.

Do not purchase products from a commercial grow unless you are aware and comfortable with the pesticides used during cultivation. If you need to ask the bud tender - do it. Read the label on the packaging because it will list non-organic ingredients including pesticides.

Red Rocks is a great spot to visit in the summer - there are miles of trails in the surrounding area as well for hiking.

Garden of the Gods is great too - also includes miles of trails for hiking. Visit Cave of the Winds while you are in the area and take the cave tour!

You can also visit dispensaries in the area that have windows into the growing area for you to view live plants growing. Lots of fun stuff to do around town really...
