Every dna genetics seeds I've ran have been mids at best. I've ran 4 or 5 of their seeds an never a single keeper
I don't think DNA worked with PP unless it's under their Reserva Privada or whatever brands. I couldn't find anything.

I meant more toward seedsman getting some legit S1's done. I'm happy with Bubba Delight packs for the time being.

Hell, I can't even grow ATM, but I always sit on the sidelines this past year and the stuff I want gets sold out, so I've just been fridge vaulting everything lately until I get back to popping seeds.

I think I made a mistake with lineage on Bubbas Delight. Seedfinder says the Bubba was the female and peyote was the male used. I had it backwards it seems. I thought they used a katsu Bubba male crossed to Female PP

Katsu Bubba is a female clone only, so no male..

Ah well I'm all over the place then. I Obviously don't know jack about Bubba Kush lol

So what is the Katsu? A pheno of an S1 of Bubba?

How is CBG claiming reg seeds on the Bubba delight seeds?
Katsu Bubba is one of the two famous Bubba Kush clones, the other being the pre-98. Not sure if it's an S1 or what.

CBG found a male in what were expected to be fems. Not common but it can happen, so they say.

So a female plant with XX chromosome can make a male seed? That's intriguing. This is obviously above my level of pollen chucking.

I guess it was immaculate conception and we should call that daddy Jesus:)

if we take a female PP and reverse her then the s1 offspring produces mostly female and
a male with no female parts

is this a herm female
or a male

testing for plant sex is a current phylos thing I believe, time will tell
xy can make xx and xy but in theory xx can not make a y without a male

even if there is a male its a herm xx only female chromosones

Peyote Purple was a dead-end for further work. Charlie took it was far as he could, and it was best used for outcrossing into other plants. I ran it extensively in the late aughts and it always made better crosses than it produced as either a stand-alone plant or selfed. Still have some Deep Chunk x PP from back in 09 that needs to be run.

My garden is already full for this season but I’ll bump these up the list for next year. They must be about seven or eight years old so they deserve to get aired out.

This is the second time I've heard this now in just a few weeks.

Glad to hear these first hand experiences. Thank you!
