I received my beans for the up and coming competition this morning . They have arrived in plenty of time to get them establish and ready for their final place of residence .

Oh I do hope they have a nice house warming party

So on the 20th ( couple days ago) . I put 3* super #61 and 2* lemon cake into pop ... Along with 5 beans from my stock. ( Irrelevant from the comp ) .

I brought an 8watt propagator which is keeping them warm , whilst they are in incubation.

No change in their state of mind at the moment , they need a bit more time before they come out if their shell's

2 days and we have life ...
1 of the Super#61 has popped.

I'm quite confident the others have also popped, without poking around in soil too much .

So I just tucked them back in for a wee nap

Okay. So today I will be re potting these ...

I have some bigger pots already waiting for them .

Okay . The girls have had a couple of days to settle in. Proudly and assertively they stand above the soil . They are in 5.5" pots I believe that's what I measured them at .

I'm still waiting on the others to poke themselves out from under the covers per-say .

Here are some pics of the four that are up . Plus a little bit more going on in the background.

They are utilising the tent at night time in a week or so the green house will be their daytime residence until, their final destination... Some where ???

Well . It looked like all 5 ... It was just the 4 tho .

These are the 4 that made it ... I believe it is 2 of each .

The one in the terracotta style pot is the unfortunate one not to make it . I believe that was one of the super#61. In this pic there was also 2 old stock from previous run... Also un popped .

The 4 girls that have managed the see the light, are now in the greenhouse hardening up .

I spent a couple of hours putting an electric supply for heating and propagation . They had their first night out , last night.

Got a few more bits today , some tomatoes, potatoes,strawberry and some potting bits ... Pots labels misc... Basically .

Need a thermometer now and I'm going to need a heat source.

After realising that the green house is not quite warm enough yet , or more so it is still a little nippy outside . I brought the girlies in and sat them on a window sill . They are happy about this decision . Plus they are getting light practically all day .

A few weeks time they should be tall enough and strong enough , also the weather should be picking up .
I'm going to miss having them at home ... I will visit them , so they shouldn't worry about it too much.

They have been put back into the greenhouse again . Now they will stay there until they go properly outside - outside .
