OG s1 x GSC + Chem D x GSC Testers

Here we have Chem D x GSC pheno 4 at 77 days. This one has that EXACT same LOUD OG funk that OG s1 x GSC pheno 6 also has, so I am assuming this is from the OG within the cookie side, as it has popped up in both lines.
Sady I wasn't able to root any cuttings from this one as it refused to branch out, even during the flowering stretch, and I wasn't able to root a bud. I'm hoping that it smokes the same as OG s1 x GSC pheno 6 so that I don't lose this flavour as it smells absolutely divine. It looks more like a chem plant than OG but has that unmistakable funk, great resin and decent yield. It also went the darkest out of the chem hybrids, but also real vivid purple, blackberry like.

OG s1 x GSC pheno 5 at 75 days. This one's a strange one, it looks more like a Bubba Kush, affie or GDP in leaf shape and bud structure, but also has that unmistakable OG funk the same as pheno 6 and also Chem pheno 4. The resin is very sticky on this compared to the other phenos which is always a good sign.
I had an accident when bending the main stalk on this one and topped it by mistake during the stretch, which resulted in some funky shaped colas.

Chem D x GSC pheno 1 at 75 days, now this one is a real stunner. Probably the prettiest of the Chem D hybrids, she grew bigger than everyone else from the start and has blossomed into a magnificent plant visually. Huge lower Chem D shaped fan leaves and a decent yield from the chem genes.
She has that distinct chem funk but also a bit of OG and purple aromas coming from the cookie side. All buds went purple but with a real deep red tinge too which is just beautiful. Resin again is completely ridiculous. Hoping she smokes as nice as she looks.

Chem D x GSC pheno 2 at 77 days, the most Chem D like out of the bunch. Has that straight Chem D funk, similar to my chem dominant Cheesedog keeper.
Purpled up the least out of all of them but still some slight cookie hints shining through. Super bulbous swollen calyxes and HUGE resin glands. Decent yield, structure was similar to Chem D pheno 1, so grew bigger and stronger than her sisters. Hoping this one is a keeper when it comes to smoking.

Chem D x GSC pheno 5 at 77 days, the last of them to come down, and the biggest yielder of the bunch. These chem hybrids wanted to go a little longer than the OG s1 hybrids, which is usual for chem lines, they seem to keep throwing white pistils well past ten weeks. I could've probably gone longer with this one but decided to take it down at the end of week 11.
Looks wise it reminds me of Gorilla Glue or Sour Dub. Very respectable yield but also stinks of chemmy burnt rubber garlic bleachy funk and covered in frost. I find with chem strains they really shine once dried and often flavours come out that weren't there in the small when growing, so I'm yet to make judgement on this one's aromas until it's dried and smokable.

Starting to make my way through some of the ones I chopped earlier, and already I've found a keeper!
OG s1 x Cookies pheno 6 is a keeper in my books. Devastating potency and the smell that stood out during flowering has translated directly into the flavour. That LOUD piney mouth coating OG funk is there in full effect even after only a week's drying! Maybe this is what cookies tastes like, as there's a bit of menthol in there too, maybe not menthol but a penetrating freshness like when you breath in after brushing your teeth. LIke some super fresh OG taste.
Here she is as a reminder.
I've yet to smoke lots of them so there could still be lots more keepers!

Sorry man, I didn't manage to take any full plant shots of either before they got chopped, but as I grew them SOG I got rid of most of the lowers and left them as single colas.
OG number 6 grew like a typical OG so next time I'll top it and try and get as many leaders as possible going.
Chem number 5 grew like a chem plant with lots of lowers and a long thick main cola, so perfect for any method really.

does look like chem cookies alot beter yielding than the kush cookies but we all know cookies is not about the yield(although the buds way up alot more than they look on the plant as all rock nugz)

^ I had some Speed dried gg#4 the Otherday (ledged on a piece of Paper on top of 2 Radiator Panels and Covered with Foil) That tasted Menthol too piff!
Smoking it now Actually ^ done in the same fashion^ ..dont think i can taste menthol this time,but i am wrecked! Lol
