Moldy Soil

So before doing a transplant I did not examine the inside to well nor cleaned them. I thought they were alright, but I was wrong. After sitting in a friends yard stacked together for who knows however many years apparently had some mold left in them. What shall I do?
Just keep scraping the mold off the top the soil? It is orangish brownish.

Would get a pic but its been raining the past couple of days. Hopefully the rain will wash it out. Though I did try to look online to find a match and couldn't seem to find one.

...try doing an image search for 'slime mold', from your description this MIGHT be what you're looking at.

...and i'm strictly indoors so i have no idea if this would present a problem.

peace, bozo
