I remember saving up for one of these.

1K of memory. In the advert they said that it was sophisticated enough to run a nuclear power station on it's own. (Chernobyl presumably).

What memories. My first was an Atari pc of sorts, then on to a 286 DOS monster.
Had to "PARK" the hard drive if you ever wanted to move the PC.

Love the ad...lightining fast 20mHz
How far we have come in the past 23 years!

i remember when Stanford AI Lab got 1 megabyte of core memory for $100,000 (1971 dollars) -- just after a big price drop. Filled a standard rack -- 19" wide by 6' tall.

that is some old school stuff fellas, When I was young Recall windows 95 being a big hit and HDD drives were 256 mb.. good times
