Medical MJ question?

Ok so here is is whats rollin threw my head right now...
My very close friend just got approved for med mj in Sk, He has CF.

Me on the other hand. I have government documented ADHD, fairly bad too. And yeah i was reading on a vancover med mj site that ADHD is a valid disorder in the eyes of health canada? is this true?
I have been trying to read up on it but i seem to find alot of diffrent info. I have been self medicating for almost 7 years. As a child i was put on ritalin for a number of years, and it just did nothing but bad in my eyes. MJ on the other hand seems calm me down enuff to be normal really. It does not affect me like most.

So yeah i am going to apply and see what i can do but yeah maby someone on the forum has some info that could help me. Atleast let me know if im just wasting my time or not.

thx alot :comfort:

You should be asking this in a more specific forum like Dr Jays

But I believe for a non pain based disorder, you will need to get a dr's sigs and I think a second opinion as well

here's the website for health canada, but on about page 9 or so under Form B2 is where you'd be. But it does not specify schedule 2 conditions. Schedule 1 conditions are on page 6 but adhd is not one of them for sure.

Great link to the forms B. Friendly, very interesting reading for sure. Thanks for sharing.

what you need to do is this if you have a specialist ,the specialist can sign form b2 and he should stamp it . this will be accepted and you dont need another signature from a gd.

case # 2 .
you deal with a gd ? in that case you have to see a specialist (its obligatory) and inform him you use mj to heal you problem with success and he have to validate your diagnostic and thats all he got to do , long as he know you are using it its ok but you have to be very specific about it . then you get back to your gd b2 in hand . he will fill the part that attest you saw a specialist thats its. the gd if willing to fill your b2 is the one who can sign the form and fill it .

i migth be wrong but some forum members know a lot more than me.

another thing ...dont call hellth canada....they have a dumb student to answer the phone and she will tell you only what you can find on the web site...otherwise its the ' we will call you in 5 biz days ' and you never heard shit from them...they dont phone back . they are worthless to answer shit . my specialist call them and they never call him back ,so they dont have much help for patients or doctors which make a lot of people very anxious .

i think they cant handle the huge numbers of new application lol
