That should be helpful, but it aint going to stop people from dying on these drugs. Before it was street heroin, then de lota morphine, then oxy cotton, now fentanyl and get ready for another new one by 2028.

Unhappy people take drugs for a good reason. They are unhappy and don't like things the way they are at the moment. Sometimes good reasons other times stupid reasons. Until that is changed individually its just going to stay the same but with a new type of drug. 😎

nothing will stop folks from OD deaths. but anything that cuts down on them is welcomed. what would also help is safe/legal sources of known composition, purity, and quantity. folks rolling off in alleys on hot shots? sell them something safe.

WTF?

Why are people so bent on messing with natural processes in the body? I predict a 99.9% chance an opiod vaccine has negative aspects which are worse than the original issues.

ADDICTION is about discomfort. Somewhere there is a discomfort in the psyche or the body which is relieved by the drug or activity a person pursues. When you remove that discomfort in some other way (therapy, surgery or alternative treatment), the *addiction* evaporates.

Stop chasing the result of the problem and start focusing on the cause of the problem. Push therapy and natural alternative information, so that guy can put his fly fishing rod down and happily spend time with his wife. Those kids can stop playing GTAxxx for 18hrs a day. That guy who lost his kid can put down the heroin and walk away.

Granted, if the addiction is also chemical a drying out period will be needed during/after the treatment.
