Their site won't let me in without acquiring information that is none of their business
Extreme reaction, IMO, unless you got asked something other than what country you are in. I agree that they probably aren't helping themselves with the paranoid but nobody on either side of the transaction is doing anything illegal. They're located in Dubin and obviously have to support more than domestic customers. Identifying the country lets the site show proper currency, shipping and applicable VATs. In any case, I wasn't afraid to identify myself as one of 323 million.

For those that are afraid to pick a country, the list contains "Other Countries". Select that, see the prices in Euro and do the conversion yourself. w00t.

PLC, really? It's basic but good CoB only light. Think Timber in a metal box

Amare Technologies supercharges their CoBs surrounding each CoB with plant growth enhancing mono diodes, but it costs more

Growmau5 did side by sides. Cob and cob+monos yielded more or less same amounts of pretty identical end product, as far as I remember. Maybe slightly more resin on cob+monos with custom wavelenghts on different timing(changing spectrum during day) but that is a highly custom feature.
There was quite more influence by nutrients used in his test grows.

If someone is up to date with growmau5's videos, please comment on this. I don't have time to go thru all the videos again...

If you followed Growmau5 you should have noticed his newest builds now combines CoBs WITH monos

That should tell YOU something

PLC makes great lights I could care less if they meet your approval. Multiple gardeners have proven this already. Have fun growing your two plants lol.

Did I say PLC was crap? NO, but it's a virtual Timber in a case, so no real difference

Really? You're taking a shot because I only grow a few plants at a time? ROFLMAO

Please explain

One is listed as IP66, one is not, isn't that kinda important?

Really both are CoB only. One has a case, timber uses a frame, which costs a lot less

IP66 is important to commercial gro ops for insurance purpose, but others?

I'v been involved in led growing since the very beginning. Personally never had an issue, neither have I read where anyone mentioned having an issue, although lots of MARS leds have gone up in smoke due to crap materials and engineering

ULMW, superb link, that looks perfect. I'm a little suspicious of the claim that 1 light at 200w is equivalent to a 400w HP's though. How are your results so far with it?
