The last few years or so I have been researching cannabis. It started out as a hobby and a way to escape the overhyped, far too expensive, unpredictable herb in my town. However, over the last few years I have genuinely grown to love it and feel like cannabis is my calling. I want to become a grower, open my own dispensary and sell herb, tinctures, edibles, you name it. All things cannabis.
I am stuck in the midwest for the foreseeable future but college is still an option, and I want to pursue a degree that will open doors for me to pursue this dream either when my state wakes up and gets with the times, or to relocate and begin elsewhere if need be. How do I begin? What degrees should I pursue to enter this field? What kind of overhead will I need? What else do I need to know that I'm not aware of?Right now this may seem like just another weed lover waxing poetic, but I genuinely believe this is my calling.
