HowdY G_h : ) that an great idea..has a small dog 2 and you know what..he is from greek,the streets in greek,imported to Denmark

It,s King the name says all...and he is trained to hunting rats-true-together with an cat..the cat hunt them out and king waiting at them and bite them to death..the cat eat them and the dog looking at those.He dont eat rats : ) about 9-10 years old now-he is childness as one,at 3 years..but mental he is destroyed,because of bad people from the early stage,in his life..
So not easy to have him,but have a soft hard..

He is going crazy if he see an cat on television-emidetly and if a horse-he scratch on the monitor..he hunted rats in there horses lives-can,t the word for that.

about the situation with the strays in greece:

As in most civilized countries, in Greece too, every municipality had a "dog
pound" and a "dog catcher". And, as in most cities throughout the world,
many domesticated dogs in Greece would one way or another gain their
"freedom" from their owners. Either they would run away on their own, or
they would be "let go" by irresponsible owners. Whatever the case may have
been, these stray dogs often would breed and have puppies and multiply
accordingly. The dog catchers in Greece used to step in and round up as
many strays as they could. The strays were held in the local municipal dog
pounds for a period of no more than 90 days, and if no one claimed the
dogs, they were typically then put to sleep.

This system kept the stray dog population down to a manageable level up
until about 10 years ago. At about that time, a local animal rights
activist group found out about a particular dog pound that kept their dogs
in miserable and inhumane conditions. They visited the pound and filmed the
scene. Then they took their evidence and presented it to the local District
Attorney who in turn issued a warrant for the responsible mayor's arrest.
That mayor was charged with the crime of "maltreatment of animals" which is
a very serious offense in Greek law. He was convicted and sentenced to
several months in prison along with a stiff monetary fine. As a result,
almost every municipality in Greece dissolved their dog pounds and fired
their dog catchers.

As you can understand, this paved the way for the stray dogs to multiply
without restriction, and today they have become a serious problem. Many
people, and especially children, have been attacked and mauled by gangs of
wild dogs. But, no one takes responsibility. The local Humane Society has
been making every effort it can to feed and take care of as many stray dogs
as they can handle, but their numbers keep growing. They try to neuter as
many of the dogs as they can, but they just can't seem to put even a small
dent into the problem.

Naa if i have knowed,he was so destroyed mentally,i had not did it..
Before he came here,he had been in 6 home or even 7 in a age on those time nearly 3 years old..try to say lol-he had been in 6-7 homes over 3 year,s..
Because he bites and newer listen to what you are saying,noone would have him.
Bud with lot,s of patience and training,it had helped a lot..but it had coast many bites and the police had called me many times-now your dog are there and there-because he can get out within even small holes.But i promised a woman i would take good care of him and raised him good-i keeped those word-and you know why Hasi : ) was in love in those woman-and love can do many things-but never got her : ( only the dog lol...know i can laugh over that-and love him in those way he is-as she said-he is just like you-never listen after-mabye truth...has to read that article more than one time-for could understand ...
A couple from DK was on holiday in guess-Greek : ) they have followed a very little dog over some days-he was of course even smallere as puppie-he was the only one-who have survived the borning-the mother had eaten ratpoison..He find food in a backyard to an resturant-who worked there-played handball with him and one day-that couple was sitting and drinking coffee on the street and they saw,those guy,s-put him in a bag of cloth and throw him in a river-they get him up-got him to a petdoctor-got those thing-a puppie should has and they done him older than he was-so they could get him out from Greek-with an airplane together with those couple of course-he came to DK.
But he was already afraid for hands-of course..so he got to another home-and the same happen-of course...sorry for bad english-tryed the best i can : ) and im sober right now...lol
