I thank you for your inspiration my friend!

My temps are 26C days and 20C nights.

I plan and vegging another week.

Great plan.

Your temps are good and the right girl seems to be recuperating from the burn.

How's your other GT in bloom ?
Must be getting really nice and frosty.

The Golden Tiger I have in the 4x4 is looking a better. She's putting on some weight and the trichomes on getting denser. She's got a lot of brown pistils but she's also putting out new flowers on top. I'm going to give here at least another week. Here's a current picture.

@BC LONE WOLF
I did not clone my Purple Haze x Malawi. I will harvest the Golden Tiger in that tent soon. That leaves the 4x4 all to herself. I need to clean her up a bit. She still has a ways to go.

Howdy fellow growmies.

26 Days from germination for my 2 Golden Tiger (F)s. I did some severe pruning. I stripped all the leaves coming off the main stalk. I removed the lateral branches from 1st node on both plants. I will clone these. I tied up the lateral branches on the 2nd node so they were up against the main stem. I then tied the laterals from the 4th node to wooden skewers so they would grow 90 degrees from the main stem. These steps on the lateral branches is an attempt to keep all 6 tops at the same level to keep their auxin levels the same.

I'll give them 2 or 3 days to get used to their haircuts and then flip them to 11/13 lighting.

I flipped my 2 Golden Tiger (F)s to 11/13 lighting yesterday. That was 29 days from germination. Here is a picture from today.

and here is a closer view of my non-conformist training method. I'm trying to keep all the tops at the same level.

I can hardly wait for those little pistils to start showing up!

Hope every one is having a great day.

My 2 Golden Tiger (F) are now 9 days since I flipped them to 11/13 lighting. Today I transplanted them into 5 gal pots. I used Happy Frog soil and watered them afterwards with a microbe tea. I left all the training aids in place. These include the splints and the tie downs. I will remove these in about a week.

The gal on the left has a lighter color, and some of the leaves are speckled (usually only half of the leaf}.

The gal on the right is darker in color and and the internodes are tighter.

I hope they are starting to stretch and show some white pistils in about a week.

Wish me good luck with this grow everyone!

Watch them double in size this week from added root space and nutes from the fresh soil !

My one Golden Tiger is showing signs of excessive nitrogen. Clawing leaves and dark green leaves. Plant has only received tap water. At transplant into 5 gal, I added microbe complete to the water. My other GT lady was watered the same and she has good color and no clawing.

What can I do? I am not a fan of flushing plants.

I am open for any suggestions!

Hi @theBeaver

Can you tell us about your parameters ( light distance/intensity, temperature, RH ) and also watering schedule ( how much water, how frequently ). That will be helpful.

A tip with N toxicity is to ajust VPD so the plan can uptake more nute. Raising temps a bit and RH a bit, opening a window in the room for more CO2 and making sure the plant have enough light.

Also, watchout not to overwater with Fox Farm soil.

I know an OG member here thats been growing with Fox Farm for a long time. @Creeperpark
He gives good advices.

If I was you, I would also post on the main GT thread here in ICMAG. Lots of growers that have experience with this specific strain could help you out.

Hope this helps a bit
