you don't want to get the home depot inline fan. they are listed as a booster fan, they don't have enough oomph to push through a cabinet much less a filter.
I agree with shovit that you need to get something that is rated for high static pressure. Most fans out there won't give you a pressure rating most likely because they don't perform that well. you also want to check the sound ratings. Anything over 27 decibels or so is pretty loud.
check out srubninja's thread on cpu fans. He has had good luck with the Thermaltake Smart Case Fan. It comes with a speed control and is not too loud on lower speeds. http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=131842&highlight=fan

Hey!! those inline fans are horrible..trust me I tried...
Delta, Schthe, Thermaltake, Sunon, Nidec( my fave!!), Vantec, are all awesome fans...the vantec tornado fans make an 80mm thats pushes 100cfm!!..
