Trimmed Bud of the mini female before drying
IMG_20250415_104354.jpg

Will maybe get around 10g of dry flower in total but nevertheless im excited. Smell is Nasty. Like sweet, fermented rotten stuff, reminds somehow on bokashi. Scent changed all the time while growing. Really looking forward to try it.

The second female is now flowering too, slow development but by now she has around 1.10m in height. No recent photo. This is from a month ago

I planted 12 seeds and I got 5 females. I already discarded one for being too slow, and I'll wait to test all the other four to choose the best one. These plants are impressive, they grow like tall powerful spears. Most of them are 9 and a half weeks into flower. I can't wait to smoke them.

This one is the fastest one:

This is a slower one:

And this one started the 12/12 cycle five and a half weeks ago.

These are special plants for patient people.

Sweet smokes
That slower one is going to be a good one.

Deep, hypnotic, psychedelic. Has a heavier and confusing side like the Malawi. Comes into waves. More introverted, can feel a bit cold vs Panama for exemple. To explore your inner self.

Bomb shit 💣💥🔥
One thing i got when i smoked the GT was crazy heart racing. It was a rollercoaster I really didnt care for. Could you compare the high from that of Zamaldelica? Any big differences? Just curious as im growing some Zam right now and i know its made with the GT. Im always experimenting to find what I like

Yeah GT and Malawi can be hard to handle 😅
I had a friend trippin after taking a single puff of Malawi last summer. He got paranoïd and imagined there were strangers hidden in the house or something like that.

The Zamaldelica I grew recently is way more gentle and friendly. Clear, expansive, social. A couple weeks ago, I rolled a big joint and passed it around a group of non-regular smokers and we had a good 2 hours of fun. Nice conversations and a good laugh.

I wrote a longer review on the Zamaldelica thread yesterday if you want to check it out.

I saw your Zam review after i posted that. You did a great job growing them. Thats why i decided to dive in and give Zam a try. Its been described as more gentle and uplifting than golden tiger and that sounds perfect for me. Not to bash golden tiger. I have a friend thats obsessed with it. He credits it with getting him off meth. It certainly sent me down the rabbit hole

Hi Rob, If I may share my impressions from Zamaldelica vs GT, to me, Zamadelica is more social, cleaner, more energctic while still offering some psychadelic waves in the beginig. Been my daily breakfast for over a year in the past!. The GT I grew where more Malawi dominant type of high as FeelHaze mentioned. Deeper, more pertubative, and introverted king of high.

One plant harvested, one to go...

Congrats on harvesting your first plant, @jeezooz :D Hope the second one was also harvested without any issues. It’s such a great feeling to successfully bring in guerrilla plants. They look resinous and dangerous, just like last year. Glad to hear they handled the storms well. Thanks a lot for the frequent updates. Enjoy!

Your GT3 is looking killer and like is going to be a great yielder @NLbred ;)
Is she a new girl from seed, or clone from previous plant ?

It seems that my Golden Tigers are too tamed for the wild in the tropics (10N). From the 3 Plants I have, 2 started flowering less than a month from seed (1male 1 female) and stayed very small. The 3th one sexed after about 5 weeks (f) but keeps on growing although slowly. Somehow they don't seem too happy in this environment. No signs of sickness but they just grew very slowly from the beginning. Same soil and conditions as other Sativas who all grow vigorously on the same place.Tried to boost them a little with moringa leaf tea. Hope the later sexing one will still veg for a good while before flowering. I pollinated the early female with the male I had. They had similar structure and the edges of the leaves are super sharp. Maybe im going to get them growing bigger the next time. Starting seedling in April or May when the light circle is slightly longer could make a difference as well.
Already a remarkable amount of trichomes. Smell is watermelon bubblegum with a (dubi described it perfectly) oily background. I like it a lot. Reminds me slightly on White Widow X Bubblegum, an all time favorite of mine.

The 2th female doesn't have these sharp edged leaves.

Hi @Costa ☀️ Golden Tiger 2 (classic version you are growing and discussed in this thread) is indeed quite tamed for non tropical latitudes and for indoor growing. Most phenos switch to flowering quickly under photoperiods of 13.5 hours of light per day or less, so in a tropical climate, you'll need to sow Golden Tiger 2 a few weeks before the summer solstice to keep the plants in vegetative growth long enough to develop a decent structure before flowering.

Glad you also found a much more Thai-leaning plant that’s reacting more slowly and reached a bigger size.

In fact, Golden Tiger 3 is more tropical than the classic version and better suited to your tropical latitude.
