Golden Cindy

Pot of Gold aka Golden Skush produced some stunning heavy yielders and a popular local clone for me , would have definately tried this cross but had no suitable C99 male at the time , glad to have a shot with these.

Poked into soil after cracking with my teeth , 12 ex 12 popped and have eleven vigorous seedlings at 3/4 nodes.

Thinning and transplanting has definately set them back a little , the two largest ones had the benefit of minimal disturbance and it shows at this stage but soon lost.

The local POG barely finishes outdoors midlands UK , hopeing one of these is a little faster and sweeter without being a mould magnet.

Anyone have realistic flowering times for these ?

Hey foomar! Welcome :) Great to see you in here. Even better to see the Golden Cindy
seedlings. Just curious, did those come as freebies or from the server fund? They've never
been up for regular sale.
Great pic with the seed pack. :)

Thanks mate , these are vigorous and full of promise , number twelve recovered after being squashed so its a dozen to flower

Picked them up when they were listed for the SF as an auction , last june or the year before.

Potted up and looking good , will flower out in 3 - 4 weeks and expecting some cracking plants .

Nice score foomar, nug's Golden Cindy was one of my favs. I kept a mom around till I lost it in the confusion after my move and didn't notice till it was too late.

Too early to tell them apart , uniform structure and similar leaves at 8 - 9 nodes , female preflowers showing on three under 20/4 lights , two males moved to greenhouse , nice fresh smell on all.

Nine males all showed sex in a fast and obvious way , first stem preflowers about to drop on this exceptionally keen one.

Two manageable compact branching males like the above , seven lanky ones with no branching will reach two metres or a lot more , every single one smells really fresh , some minty odours in there.

The girls have just shown and are far less advanced than the males , cannot be distinguished from several other C99x around them at this time , they are keeping up with a batch of MBS and share the same vigor.

The four girls are quite compact , average for C99x but with a more bushy structure than most , plenty to clone and they root fast , one has a smell of burning hash already.

Planted twelve seeds and have thirteen plants , there is no possible error so one was a twin , or two seeds within one outer shell.
Seen this only once before in twenty years with a pack of Bogglegum , better than 100% germination sets the bar pretty high.:)

Thanks Frank , that extra plant really confused things , the way i started them means i cant tell if they are seperate or genetic twins , or even which two they are.

This compact male is identical in every way to one of the girls , leaf form , flower placement , odour and colour , very spreading directly under a 600 watter , will use it on the girls and run a good number late outdoors for selection.

Has a sharp angular look in floral detail , i shall call him Spike.

Spike joined the other males in the greenhouse , despite the wrong light hours and catching the last frost and first heatwave , got enougth pollen to seed the chosen girls.

The frost/heat damage is evident close up , pollen is still viable , bottom half of all girls seeded , and a few buds of MBS which should produce a multitude of variations.

This one has the strongest pineapple smell , suffered considerable mite damage but the buds are pretty clean.

The vegging male clones have a good scattering of trichs , opinions vary as to their worth in a cross.

Nasty dose of root aphids caused the loss of two girls around day forty , survivors are finishing late and slow , all get a second run without the aphids.

Bud taken far too early around day fifty due to RA,s is suprisingly fruity and strong , minimal yield but enougth to get a taste , nice blend of the two lines and one extreme pineapple oddity.
