I see there are Grand Daddy Purple Seeds that are fems now. Does anyone know if they are S1's?

Anyone else grow these? I have 4 going right now. What is surprising is how tall they are. They have fat leaves like an indica but more of a stretch than I was expecting. So they may yield pretty good.

Connoisseur seems like they won't be making anymore. But they should since theirs seem to be way different than Granddaddy Purp Genetics.

My experiences with grandaddy purp seeds by ken estes were fantastic when the dude from DVG was doing the work with the plants. I grew 2 of the releases since that guy left and didn't find one good plant amongst 10-15 females, whereas previously I didn't find a single shitty female from the older seeds, I grew candyland twice from 2 diff packs, same with kens kush, GDP I only bought one pack of seeds and found 2 great phenotypes.I lost all to a bust which is why I grew the kens and candyland again from seed, I could not source GDP seeds in the old packs and wouldn't bother trying if I saw them in the later pack design based on my experiences with snowcap and another I forgot because it was so unmemorable.
I'd steer clear personally, unless ken has farmed the feminised seeds out to someone who knows what they're doing, because I heard after the DVG guy left he was making his seeds in the conservatory with multiple males in the room, so who knows what you're getting in terms of a cross. The plants speak for themselves from those later seeds and no-one is really talking about GDP/estes seeds anymore.

Yeah I wish we had someone on here with contact to Ken. It should be really simple to make S1's of Ken's Granddaddy Purple cut. The plants are almost ready to flower so we will see.
I have noticed forums will die if the breeder abandons the forum. For example OG Raskals forum. I still have a couple of his white fire seeds left and one clone. A few keepers got away from me, so sad lol.

I hope Connousuer makes some more GDP seeds. I didn't know he lost the clone. I just harvested the first GDP from Granddaddy Purp Genetics. It was a fast growing plant and did turn partway purple at 68 degrees F nighttime temps. It will be a while before it is trimmed and tested.
I only went through 4 seeds and found this nice one. I should have kept it.

The nighttime temps were only down to maybe 70 degrees F. Probably at 60 degrees it would have turn more purple.

Ventura, was there much variation between the phenos? Also having done the S1s from coni were these similar, did they seem like S1s or a cross?

Sorry I didn't notice the question ezra. Connoisseur's S1's had a more compact structure like I was expecting with GDP.
