not my experience, but I heard BF can op some pretty big plants, 12/12 makes sense.

BF as in Barnies's farm? What has that to do with 12/12 right from the beginning?

I'd rather leave them to work on their roots for 2 weeks and then if in a hurry, switch to 12/12. Can't see any benefit in doing it right from the start.

Yeh, Barney's Farm, I sorta agree with you, but if it's a long flowering phoeno, starting from seed will cut 2-3 weeks (also yield) but sometimes time is of the essence...i'm just playing devil's advocate, I really don't care how they grow, I do both...admittedly my last grow was from 12/12, but i'm growing autos too 16/8, and my latest to be crossed sample has been started from 16/8, now 11/13...

My first ever indoor grow. A couple White Widow auto flowers. In coast of Maine Stonington growers blend 150watt viparspectra xs1500pro led 100%. Mostly organic top dressing Dr Earth some fox farm tiger bloom. Compost tea with molasses straight decorated tap water as needed.
The bigger one popped on 10/1/23 should be harvested this week.
Second about 2 months behind.
What's your thoughts on them?
