Yeah, I read about the recreation of the wooly mammoth, it's amazing what science can do even if it is a little scary at times.
I believe your talking about the mouse coming home with you. I don't know what the animals and wife would say if you brought a wooly mammoth home with you:)

i mean, i've GOT a fenced in back yard, but...yeah, a mouse would work better i guess. :shucks: be cool to have the first wooly mammoth on the block, though...:D

You would be the talk of the block! You could charge a viewing fee. A Wooly Mammoth would draw a crowd.

As much as I dont want mice in my home, they are quite the amazing little critter and very athletic.

i've had mice nearly everywhere i've lived. as long as it was just "a" mouse, they are these cute little meeces. but a bunch of them turn into "fucking rats!" real fast. my mom said once that she no longer had mice ! we were amazed ! then, we found the 5' long black snake in her basement... i think she would rather have had the mice instead, lol.

charge for rides, rent it out like folks do their goats to clear land, it could be a real gold mine!
Your on an entrepreneurial roll hippy, loggers could use mammoths instead of horse logging.

While I find the idea of de- extinct intriguing...I would be concerned as humans have a habit of acting and thinking later. Recently I read of one company that plans on bringing back 3 extinct animals.
We have a difficult time protecting what exists now because of human activities.
