Dynavap......hybrid more than true vape?

I’ve used the Dynavap with a torch for a while, and I totally understand what you're saying about the learning curve. It’s definitely a bit of a hybrid experience, and I agree that sometimes, it feels like you're getting a mix of smoke and vapor. The torch method can sometimes overfire the bowl and lead to combustion, especially if you’re not consistent with your heating technique.
I found that lowering the temperature and using a slower, more controlled method helped prevent that. But if you’re looking for something a bit more consistent, I switched to pod systems for vaping and found a Dinner Lady liquid to give me a smooth experience without the risk of combustion. It’s not as complex as the Dynavap, but it’s simple and reliable, with no risk of over-heating or wasting material.

They just came out with a new cap. A baller cap that has small steel shot encased in it. So like a ball vape, you heat the steel shot rather than the weed. I thought about buying one and trying it. I would assume it would reduce the likelihood of combusting the herb, which I don't want to do. My lungs can't take that anymore.

Its a entry level vape its only gonna do so much.
Grab a dental conduction heater and you'll get better control over that or just buy a better vape.

I don't use my Dynavaps anymore. They're packed away. I do have an induction heater for them and that's the ONLY way I'd use a Dynavap on a regular basis vs. a torch.

Mine just sit as well..........sure don't miss smoking at all.
Been using a stainless ball vape for a couple years now and love it.

Hey,

measured by the amount of flower used, the dynavap is a really good vape. I own a crafty, solo 3 and a dynavap. Crafty and Solo dont deliver an intense rush like the dynavap but get you overall more "loaded" and the duration of the effect is longer in my opinion. But they use double the amount of flower...
I love the dynavap, its my daily driver but i mostly get high at nighttime. For recreational use, if you want your tollerance at a lower level or enjoy getting high only a few times a day, the dynavap is perfect. With the other vapes your tollerance skyrockets in one or two days, atleast for me.

I thought there was a range caps, that click at different temperatures.
The ball or bar idea might offer some retrofit options, if using induction heating.
It's a bit of a rough diamond really. If you are off hiking, it's size and durability set it apart. While finding a flame is easier than finding a charger. In the field, this can set it apart. At home, there is going to be better choices.

For me, it's tiny anyway. You can't get a joint of weed in there, so spend far too much time emptying and packing. Then there's the fucking about rolling them in the flame. My vape looses points because it needs to be plugged in, but I'm putting about 10g in there. It's on a very different scale.

Yeah, it holds about a fair few ounces, but I figure the air needs to be able to circulate a bit. I can't fill 3L solid. I would be grinding all night.

I have this

My vape will take all that.

No point messing about with a personal top-up pen when you're at home.

I think most peeps have seen it. Digital display temperature control. Timer. Stay clean lining. A perforated plate to hold your bud down. $20

You get a good few lung fulls from half ounce. You can easily share it with a couple of friends. The first run put 3 of us in a coma. It's not for lightweights
